As a graphic designer, finding inspiration is very important to me and this book does a great job in doing so. I would highly recommend this book for anyone who wants inspiration.

For artists who work with pattern this book is a must have. I didn't think twice about ordering it and it's full of inspiration that will have you rushing for pen and paper. Textile artists would also benefit.

The media could not be loaded.  I've reviewed a few books on patterns, and they are always refreshing. Over and Over is not exception.The beautiful cover enticed me to pick it up actually. It's a 256-page paperback with everything printed non-glossy.There's a great variety of fun looking patterns, all hand-drawn by the 55 artists featured. Everything has that organic and traditional feel, as with hand drawn art. Mike Perry is amazing. This book is another must-have for your art-inspired bookshelf. He pulls together intricate patterns/designs from different artists to build a true array of hand-drawn art. It's a great mixture of inspiring patterns and tells the story of each artist as well as the importance of hand-drawn art and illustrations. The art of handmade was getting left behind by the digital age, but artists like Mike Perry are helping to show everyone the importance of pen and ink...To put it simply: hand-drawn is where it's at.

I preffer other Perry's book "Hand Job: A Catalog of Type" but this is a great book too. There are a lot of work hand drawn and repiting by computer to obtein a pattern

Contains a wonderful collection of patterns. Ideal if you are looking for inspiration for your designs.

ce dont j'ai besoin c'est de la documentation sur les motifs textiles contemporains pour mes cours de design textile pour adultes j'aime la variété des propositions de ce livre mais beaucoup de motifs sont moches ou faciles ou glauques c'est toujours ce qui me déçoit par rapport aux livres sur des motifs anciens.

Beau livre, beau format, plein d'idées et inspirant ! Donne ou redonne l'envie de dessiner !
