Just wanted to leave a helpful hint; this was will pull off with the stamp if you try to remove the stamp befor the wax has cooled enough to solidify. I found a great DIY hack; stick the stamp into a small bowl of ice water between uses! Dry it off on a paper towel before putting it on the envelope.Also: I used 3-4 squeezes with my small hot glue gun for each wax seal I did... I did 100 wax seals and used 22 sticks (so about 4-1/2 wax seals per stick.Very happy with this product!

Love the wax, it is so beautiful in person! Only down side is that I was not able to use it with my regular hot glue gun. I bought a bigger one that I found on Amazon as well.

I was nervous to use my existing high heat glue gun (for mini sticks) with these after reading other reviews, but it worked just fine! The hot wax is sticker than I’m used to, so we placed our wax stamp on a piece of ice between each seal to speed up the process. 1 box of these wax sticks easily covered our 65 wedding invitations (took us about 1hr). We even used an entire stick to practice/get the look we liked and ended with a 1.5 sticks leftover. One note, it’s best to have a buddy if you have many seals to do at once, the wax did drip a bit from the glue gun if we let it sit for more than a few seconds. Not a big deal if you are okay with a little waste. We adressed this by handing the gun back and forth between seals (sharing the stamp). No wax lost! Will repurchase, so much easier than other wax melting/stamping approaches I’ve tried!!

I purchased these to create an authentic seal for a Mothers' Day letter as part of a unit on medieval history. Being able to use a hot glue gun convinced me to buy these. It seemed simple, but because not any glue gun will do, I took a star off. I discovered I needed a new glue gun without any glue residue and it needed to be a LOW temperature one that takes regular sized glue sticks - not mini ones. Finding that locally at short notice was a challenge, but the end result and the amazed look on my students faces was worth all the effort though.

I used this gold wax for the seals on my wedding invitations! (On the green envelope in the middle of the photo) It worked great, I was very happy with the turnout.

The wax sticks work beautifully. Very happy with this purchase for our DIY wedding invites! This was my first time sealing envelopes with wax and it took a few to get the hang of it (the pictured seal is one of my beginner ones).Note: BUY EXTRA STAMPS. We had a few invitations sent back because some cities’ mailing systems needed additional postage on the envelopes to be processed for delivery.
