I buy one of this size every couple of years. If it goes beyond it's best before date, it hasn't gone off, it just loses some of its strength so use more. Great on Greek salads, in a ragu, sprinkled on potatoes, steaks. My favourite herb.

I use oregano in gravy. Stews hotpots slow cooker. Topping on pizza shepherd's pie. Lasagne. It's a great herb and good fof you.

I cook a lot and get through an extraordinary amount of herbs and spices - oregano being one ofmy most used herbs! I kept running out of it buying the supermarket pots, but when I saw this size, I was thrilled. Just opened it and will try to update to let you know how long it lasted. I also buy the Mixed Herbs in this size and brand, and they last a good couple of months with heavy use. The Thyme, lasts even longer for me, although this would be unique to each individual. Lovely, decent, strong flavours and a good colour to them. Scent is potent too and the Schwartz ones don't have that slightly medicinal flavour that cheaper ones can have. They last a good while and are decent quality. Recommended.

Better value than small individual jars and packets

I use a lot of oregano in my cooking and this larger quantity is perfect for my needs. The usual great quality and a good price. Win win.
