WOW, best present ever to brothers, 11 and 18. Christmas is difficult but I wanted something to bring them together. We gave these to them the morning before Christmas The entertainment value of these is priceless. They only had yellow for both Robots, but the GREAT thing is that they had 5 choices to pick from. They both are very smart, and loved the challenge of the 500+ pieces. The greatest thing is that both robots worked! One built a dinosaur, the 11 year old, and the 18 year old built a tank. If you have a younger person, this is PERFECT bonding for a dad and son!

This product is so great. It’s challenging for a 9 year old to put together, but the instructions are very thorough. The one I bought had a few pieces missing from the box, so I emailed the link provided on the box and they responded the same day or night as they are in China. We corresponded through a few emails and the parts are in the mail and a tracking number was provided. Very responsive and they took care of me which is amazing to see such great customer service in this modern day. I’m definitely buying more from them in the near future. They have better customer service than Lego. I literally emailed them on Christmas and got a response that night! Whoa!

Fun toy! You drive the robot, you don’t program it. You put the robot together. Gift for 11 year old boy. Said it was his favorite toy ever. Made obstacle courses for the robot.

Very challenging for younger children in the recommended age group, but a great lesson in following exact directions.

Wonderful STEM project! We worked as a team and banged it out in no time!! Very clear instructions but no verbage just images. Will definitely be buying other versions! Chose not to use the app and just stick with the joystick. Wish I could get a camera add on but think I will manufacturing my own 😆 side note. It will peek the cats interest LOL

This was bought for my now 9-year-old. He is very STEM oriented, and we thought this would be a nice intro for him into robotics and coding for a decent price. I will not complain about the build; he did it by himself in about an hour, including getting distracted watching his sister on the computer. The directions had pictures and were easy to follow. The only time he needed help was when he could not find a piece, which I helped find. The bags did not appear labeled, but I didn't exactly look closely, as he wanted to do it himself. He built the dino/model C first, and it is about 10 inches tall. My complaint is in regards to the App. The product promotes the app and the capabilities of the bot through the app. NOWHERE does it mention that the app is not avaliable in the Google Play Store, (not sure about Apple), and requires an APK downloaded from a website written in Mandarin. That is super sketch and throws up red flags for me, so we will NOT be using it. A 4-star review, (found in the reviews from other countries in my view), a buyer from Canada lists the permissions the app requests. Most people just click through them when they want something, but take the time to read what you are agreeing to! The app jeopardizes personal privacy and security via your phone by bypassing the app store checkpoints, leaving it open to any bad actors that might use this app as a backdoor. Bottom line, for a cheap, build-it-yourself robot toy for you or your kid, this is an option. If you want one that you can actually use an app to control the bot without worrying too much about your data and security, I would look elsewhere, if you can afford it.
