Wanted a heat gun to help strip paint off and this has been absolutely brilliant. Really simple to use and very effective. Super high quality and sturdy. Found it simple to use too. Be warned this does NOT come with a battery and will have to be purchased separately.Highly recommended

In my opinion I don't think it gets as hot as it says . I think the time it takes to heat up uses so much battery power that you won't have so long to heat a thing at it's maximum possible temperature . Just my opinion....

The heat gun arrived safely, and it comes nicely packed inside a well-illustrated retail box, nice enough to be given as a gift. The only item you get in the box is the heat gun, no battery or charger is included.The overall quality of the heat gun is very good, it feels well made, its fairly lightweight, it has a nice comfortable grip, the buttons feel solid, and in general I’m pleased with the quality of it.The heat gun accepts an 18V Power For All 4.0Ah or 6.0Ah battery. There are two different settings; setting 1 is medium airflow with a maximum temperature of 440°C and setting 2 is high airflow with a maximum temperature of 550°C. The minimum temperature is 30°C and you can adjust the temperature in 10°C increments. The built-in display shows which mode you are using and a battery indicator with 5 bars.The gun powers on and gets up to temperature in very little time. Using a 4.0Ah battery you get around 25 minutes of use on the low setting and roughly 15 minutes use on the high setting. If you use a nozzle with the gun, then it can be safely released by turning the collar on the end.Overall, with the battery you are looking around £140 which is kind of crazy for just a heat gun as you can pick up a corded one for around £20. At around £75 this gun is priced about the same as more well-known brands so it’s a difficult one for me to fully recommend and not the best value for money. Its good quality though and works well so I feel four stars is appropriate for it.

Got this to remove some veneer from my boats interior and some glued stainless steel trim that was glued on. Works great, nice that heat can be adjusted and takes bosh batteries, ideal for when power cables not available. Nice body and feels good and well made.

Brilliant bit of kit but it is worth it to have only if you already using Bosch cordless tools.. Its worth pointing out that it comes with no charger or battery or nozzles its just the base unit. Works well and is fab as its cordless

It is worth it to have only if you already using Bosch cordless tools.Otherwise £100 it’s the minimum spending (battery and charger) to get this working.Comes with no nozzles,must be purchased separately.All together iit is a £200 bill.Now,the quality of this it’s good and considering that same tool from Bosch (doing exactly the same thing) costs no less than twice, I strongly recommend this one.Power for all acumulators are fitting a wide range of tools and are good enough quality.Unfortunately I couldn’t find any other cordless tools from this manufacturer but I know they’re doing quality hand riveter starter kit ,pliers and ratchet.

Hört die Temperaturanzeige auf zu blinken, ist die eingestellte Temperatur erreicht und wird gehalten.Einstellbar ist die Temperatur in 10°C Schritten von 30 bis 440 bzw 550°C.Der Luftauslass hat ca. ein Maß von 33 bis 34mm - meine Bosch Professional Reduzier-/Reflektor- und Flächendüsen passen ohne Probleme! Ein extrem cooles Feature ist auch der drehbare Kopf der Pistole ("EJECT"). So kann man heiße Düsen einfach abstreifen um eine andere Düse aufzustecken, ohne sich die Hände zu verbrennen.Die Pistole kann man auf dem Akku stehend, auf dem rücken liegend und seitlich liegend ohne Probleme betreiben.Technische Daten---------------------Leider schweigen sowohl die Internetseite von RAPID als auch das Handbuch sowie das Internet zu den genauen Leistungsdaten.Laut Aufschrift kann die Pistole bis zu 16 Ampere bei 18 Volt verbrauchen, was theoretisch eine Leistung von 288 Watt ergibt. Dies bestätigt sich auch rechnerisch bei 4,0 Ah Akku und 15 Minuten Laufzeit.Ich schätze mal, dass die Heizung so um die 300 bis 320 Watt haben wird (voller 18V Akku hat 21V, multipliziert mit 16 A = 336 W). Das Gebläse selbst wird nicht ganz so stark zu Buche schlagen, daher zu vernachlässigen.Zur Luftmenge gibt es leider auch keine technischen Daten. Dazu mehr im nächsten Punkt.Vergleich zu einem 230V Gerät-------------------------------------Als Vergleich habe ich eine Parkside PHLG 2000 D3 Heißluftpistole von LIDL.Deren technische Daten sind laut Typenschildaufkleber:230V 2.000WStufe I: 350°C bei 300 Litern pro MinuteStufe II: 550°C bei 500 Litern pro MinuteUnd da merkt man deutlich, dass die 18V Rapid zwar die Temperaturen an sich erreicht, aber eine viiieeeeeeel geringere Literleistung bringt.Bei der 18V Rapid kann ich auf Stufe II 550°C problemlos dauerhaft meine Hand ca. 25-30cm entfernt zur Düse halten. Die LIDL Maschine ist schon auf Stufe I unerträglich, und ich muss meine Hand mindestens doppelt so weit weghalten. Auf Stufe II der LIDL Maschine muss ich die Hand zwingend einen Meter weit weghalten, sonst schmerzt es unerträglich.Fazit------Genau das, was ich erwartet habe. Eine praktische Maschine für mich, welche perfekt ist um Etiketten zu lösen, Schrumpfschläuche zu schrumpfen, für das Heißluft löten (SMD) mittels Reduzierdüse und Kunststoff zu verformen. Auch super, um im Winter mal eben gefrorene Türschlösser, Tankdeckel oder Türgummis anzuwärmen.-------Die anderen Bewertungen (v.a. die VINE-Bewertungen), welche sich über einen fehlenden Akku beschweren und deswegen die Maschine schlecht bewerten, kann ich nicht nachvollziehen. Es ist doch von Anfang an klar, dass die Maschine OHNE Akku und OHNE Ladegerät kommt. Zudem ist überall sauber beschrieben, dass man einen Akku der POWER4ALL Alliance braucht, und keinen der blauen Professional Serie!

En su caja de cartón serigrafiada con el diseño y la marca del fabricante en portada, recibimos la pistola de aire caliente junto a un extenso manual de tipo libro. El empaquetado no es puede decir que sea de lo mejor a mi modo de ver, ya que no se ve forrado ni acolchado para evitar posibles roturas en su transporte. Cabe destacar que esta versión no tiene la batería ni un maletín de almacenaje.✅Calidad. No es la primera vez que recibo una herramienta de este fabricante y la verdad es que los materiales que emplean en la producción de sus artículos son de bastante calidad. La pistola pesa lo justo y tiene un tacto gomoso que da bastante seguridad en el agarre. El mango es bastante ergonómico y cómodo, y en la parte superior tenemos el display que nos dará la información relativa a la temperatura y el flujo de aire seleccionado. Además, encontraremos los botones de selección.✅Características. Al ser un dispositivo inalámbrico, requiere de una batería para su uso. Aquí viene lo importante, y es que podremos usar una amplia variedad de baterías gracias a su alta compatibilidad. En mi caso particular, tengo un par de baterías de la marca Bosch por casa y pude usarlas con la pistola sin mayor problema. Se ajusta perfectamente y el cierre es apropiado. Dependiendo del tamaño de las baterías, tendremos mayor o menor autonomía, pero puede oscilar entre los 15 a 30 minutos de uso.✅Funcionamiento. Una vez cargada, seleccionaremos el flujo que necesitamos para el trabajo que queramos y su temperatura. Veremos en el display como va cogiendo la temperatura necesaria de funcionamiento. Mucho cuidado con poner las manos o alguna parte del cuerpo, recomendable trabajar con guantes. Es ideal para quitar el adhesivo que se suele quedar cuando queremos quitar una pegatina y que ésta salga completamente, o por ejemplo para lo que yo más lo uso, que es para calentar el pegamento de las carcasas de los móviles y poder reemplazar las piezas que necesito.✅Consideraciones. Está fabricada de tal manera que se puede sostener por sí misma en horizontal o en vertical, por lo que si necesitamos trabajar con las dos manos, podremos hacerlo sin problemas.💶Resumen. Considero que el producto está muy bien elaborado y que las características son de una calidad bastante elevada. Debemos tener claro que esta herramienta es de buena marca, por lo que no creo que el precio sea inadecuado, aún teniendo en cuenta que no tiene la propia batería. Lo que si me hubiera gustado, es el detalle de un pequeño maletín de guardado y un embalaje más adecuado. Igualmente, no puedo darle menos de 5 estrellas ⭐️
