I have been using Brocato gel for years. It is a light weight gel that strengthens and shapes my wavy, curly hair without sticky residue or flaking. It leaves my hair soft and flexible although dampness and wind can restyle it on those kinds of days. I was sold on Brocato when m fingernails gradually became stronger and less prone to splitting after I'd been using it a while. My hair splits less often too! It has a light scent and works well with my leave-in conditioner.

I was recommended to use this product by my beautician many years ago. I purchased the item through her as I could not find it locally and when she had to change (due to pricing), I continued to use it but had to purchae it on line. I like the this product and it gives a good set when used and I plan to continue using it as long as I can find a way to purchase it

At first I didn't like it. My styling gel of 10 years or so had been discontinued, so I was forced to try something new.The stylist who'd recommended the original get also recommended this one; at first it seemed sticky and left my hair stiff. But for lack of the patience or money to begin to try the many styling gels, lotions, and whips out there, I decided to give it an extended chance. I read a review by a faithful Hold On user or many years, and she mentioned using a dab the size of a dime. So i cut back and discovered I'd been using far too much. I'd also been applying it to almost dry hair. By cutting back tremendously on the amount used, and using it on wetter hair, I got outstanding results. And I'm quite happy. It is slightly drying, but I'm allowing for the possibility that as my hair has turned from blonde to grey, the texture has changed and it has dried out. Overall, I'm satisfied.

My husband has been using this product for years, it is expensive but he has tried other products and cannot compare the quality.

This product was not described properly. It was also quite expensive. I searched many products to find what I was looking for, but unfortunately, I am a little disappointed with it.
