While these look pretty good and they seem like they're built well. They will not work for their intended purpose. The cutter blades don't meet flush. There's a visible gap between the blades. No way they will cleanly cut fine wire. Maybe they will cut small plastic zip ties. But even then these will have a difficult time cutting all the way through if the edges don't meet. See the picture and you'll see the light shining through the cutter blades where they don't cleanly meet. To be honest I started a return but the hassle of return options here in my area makes it where it just isn't worth it for 6 bucks. Save your money these are poor quality.

I bought these for use with my flower pipe cleaner kits because I'm afraid to using my scissors will ruin them. They are easy to use, work great and feel very durable. They also don't slip out of my hand and fit nicely. The only thing that would make them better is a cap to keep the nippers closed when not in use. Great value for the price!

I mainly bought these cutters to cut the extra string hanging out of the tuning posts of my guitars. It did the job, but, I dont think these cutters were designed to cut guitar strings. The reason I say this is that for the thicker strings, it wasn't as easy as I would have liked, maybe because they are a little smaller than I expected. Because of their size, I dont think they had the leverage larger cutters would have. They did the job, but more effort was needed for the thickest 3 strings. It does cut where you want, as I like to cut the strings close, right beneath the top of the tuning posts so that there's less likely to poke or stab me when handling the guitars. These cutters are nicely covered with the rubber grips, and they are comfortable when using them. I suppose they are easier to carry or store because of their size. That's a plus because they fit in a back pocket if you need to have them with you for a while as if you had some project that you had to go around different areas and cut things.

This item is not fit for purpose. They do not cut the wire neatly the are so blunt they almost tear the wire leaving right edges. Unuseable sadly fit only for the bin so very disappointing. I will have to find some better ones. Complete waste of money
