Handy-Snap 101-115HSPP for 4 inch PVC, Copper Pipe, American Made, one-Piece Hanger for Pipes, Cables, Conduit

This review will be used for the 3” & 4” pipe clamps. I really like the way these hold PVC pipe. I ran over 100 feet of 3 & 4 inch PVC for downspout drainage. They were mounted on vertical walls and the pipe ran vertically and horizontally. They blend well with the white PVC. They are a bit difficult to anchor to the wall because you need to hold the clamp open while you drive the screw though the center. I suggest using a 6” bit driver to eliminate the need for the chuck of your drill to enter the opening of the clamp. I think there should be optional holes to toe screw from either side. I actually drilled holes to do this because there was a section of pipe that I could not install without having the pipe set in the clamp first. They seem sturdy but I did break one of the clamps while I was holding it open to screw to the wall. I guess I opened it a little too far. Overall, I am very happy with the way the clamps look and function.

Great product but be sure to use a washer if your useing a small headed screw. Otherwise the screw might pull through the pre drilled hole.

For our clothes dryer, we use a Deflecto dryer vent diverter to capture the warm moist air in winter for inside use -- a good idea, but it does not work so well when the diverter has to be mounted up to the outside wall. It works much better if it can be away from the wall a bit, as shown in the picture. This hanger (shown circled in red) is great for that purpose. It clamps down on the pipe, providing stability as well as support.

I liked the sturdiness of the plastic and ease of clamping at different diameters. However I was disappointed the product description did not give a min and max diameter of the clamp.
