I purchased this oil to replenish the order in some cedar lumber. Perhaps I was trying to use it for a purpose that it was not intended. It smelled not at all like cedar and had a petroleum smell.

What can I say? I'm a huge fan of Plant Guru! They absolutely produce quality oils at reasonable prices... Which is not the easiest thing to find. And I love this cedarwood just as much as any other I've owned. Considering I run diffusers in every room of my home all day everyday, each with its own prescriptive blend, I go through quite a bit of oil. I feel good diffusing this into my home and creating topical blends.

Last week I purchased five different scents from this company. The Virginian Cedar is the only one of the five that I can actually smell as it comes out of the diffuser.

It’s a sent I needed and am very happy with it.

This is a pretty good cedarwood oil it is in my top 5 cedarwood virginia scents. other brands do smell nicer but this is not a bad oil

Cedarwood Virginia has multiple USES! IT'S A natural BUG/INSECT REPELLENT, that also will KILL many critters, including FLEAS & TICKS. What's better is it's all NATURAL, and CHEMICAL-FREE! Do some research on Googlefor many more benefits of this as well as OTHER Cedarwood (i.e. Atlas) oils. NOTE: The RED cedarwood isn't healthy forsome animals, however, the Cedarwood Virginia can be used to make flea/tick sprays for dogs. Don't like the smell? Get some Geranium Essential oil, and place a drop or two between the dog's shoulders, and a drop or two on top of their tail. Repeat twice weekly.
