I have owned 5 Otterbox cases for for iPhone 14 Pro Max alone at this point, so they’re obviously my go-to.The reason I always go to Otterbox is because way back when I had the iPhone 11 Pro Max I bought a Lifeproof case (who were subsequently bought-out by Otterbox).The Lifeproof case I had back then was the same clip-in frame type design as this Otterbox Defender XT… And I’m a fan.This is not a quick and simple case to install, nor is it slim and discreet. It adds significant bulk to the phone (especially the width) but due to being well designed it adds to the aesthetic in my opinion.There is a real knack to installing the frame and you need to plan before you start to avoid frustration!The frame fits nicely around a correctly installed screen protector.It also has a very shallow profile so nicely protects the screen when placed face-down without looking bulky.The phone feels incredibly well protected and I’d have no fears about dropping it on its edge from any height… Which is the point.The frame is entirely rubber which feels very tactile and grippy in the hand.I have the clear version of the case which is far less hard wearing than the black one, purely due to the polycarbonate back panel being very easy to scratch… It looks good though.I won’t ramble any more but it’s a very sturdy, solid, nicely designed case which looks and feels high quality and will offer all the protection you’d need short of being waterproof.It’s a pricey case at full RRP but when on offer it’s a good deal.

A little bit fiddly to install but once installed it feels very sturdy. Does not slipped in your hands,nice tactile rubbery feeling on the side.

Fits really well , phone is well protected, fitted my phone(iPhone 15 pro max) with screen protector and camera protector already on with with ease , don’t be put off with reviews mentioning difficult to fit , I found it really easy , started at bottom corner and worked my way round , no problems whatsoever.Yes it’s expensive for a small piece of plastic, but after having a near miss dropping my phone with a cheap case on , I felt it was time for a more rugged case and this fits the bill .If u want the additional holster , I got a free promotional code (in the minimal packaging) to order one from OtterBox which I have subsequently done , awaiting arrival with free shipping .

Makes the phone big and bulky but the rubber is durable and nice to hold, definitely drop resistant and better than forking out £400 for a new screen

I chose the clear one so I could see if the back glass breaks! Looks quality on, feels good and I know from previous cases and phones that otter box delivers quality

I bought this case in advance to protect my new iPhone. A Couple of issues.(1) I opened to discover there is no front protection glass or film which I thought it had (pictures are slightly misleading in the advert) turns out what I thought was a screen protector was just a plastic bevel that clips to the front of the case to hold phone in case securely. So finding a screen protector to fit with the bevel of the case is going to be hard. So I now have an unprotected screen.(2) Case not as tough as it might look. The rear glass on my phone has now broken after two weeks of me owning it, my phone has been in this case from day one. Very disappointing, Ive had many cases from otterbox in the past and been very satisfied but this one is not good ☹️

I love the design and durability of the case I love it is see-through so u can still enjoy your $1300 phone and be able to see it versus most cases that cover the whole phone and you cannot even see it. And I like the rubberized edges, so if you place your phone down on the uneven surface it stays, and does not slide around.
