They're staples.......
These are good staples, but the Porta-nails company has changed ownership in the past few years. While not an issue for the staples, the 20-gauge flooring stapler (which was similar to a Hitachi product) is no longer offered. In addition, some of the older Porta-Nails tools are no-longer supported with repair parts.That is a shame. They were good products.

Things just keep getting more expensive...
I used to be able to buy nails and staples at a decent and respectable price at my local hardware store. Not anymore. I have to do what I can to keep my profits from dwindling like they have. These staples work as effectively as the 20 to 25 dollar staples.
