This book is an excellent guide for understanding solar power systems and how the components function to bring you power from the Sun. The author has numerous videos on YouTube which this book complements.

I did not know anything about how solar worked. I started watching William vidieos on utube around year 2020 and have a better understanding about solar. before i buy anything solar related i check what William opinion is for this item before i buy. i purched this book as a referral for idea's solar.

This book is an easy read and doesn't take long to go through it. Nothing written that is too complicated for beginners.

There's a lot of information in here that is useful but it's definitely outdated. Will have to take a look at the other books offered.

Fantastic book. Well worth the money. I knew nothing about solar and very little about electricity and this book helped me build a 450 watt solar array on my camper conversion roof and add a 3,379 wh 12.8v lifepo4 battery bank and a 3500 watt inverter and not burn it to the ground. Highly recommend this book if you're new to solar

Found Will on Youtube and I've learned so much from him already. After watching one or two of his videos, I bought the kindle and paperback versions. Quick read, organized and well written, with great information for this newbie that is fairly ignorant about electricity.The binding/printing of the paperback version leaves a lot to be desired. The first few pages weren't cut correctly and were folded in an odd manner. I had to unfold them and trim them to match the rest of the pages. I suppose I shouldn't expect much from such a low-cost book. The cover is a weird texture...rubbery. Similar to the texture of a rubber band. It's gross and I'm typically not texture sensitive. haha. I'll probably buy the spiral bound version and give the paperback to a friend.

Mr William Errol Prowse is the easiest to understand of all the writers on solar power I have read. I am guessing that he is also an electrical engineer, or an extremely, highly self-educated amateur. He takes you through this topic step by step, and shows how you will be able to easily design and construct solar power systems for vans, RVs and off-grid cabins. His website and YouTube videos will fill in anything that you don't know on more advanced systems. Praise and commendations for this book and his teaching fill the internet. Buy it.
