My old cloth oven mitts had served our family well evidenced by tiny holes, little scorch marks, and multiple stains. One thumb even found a hole large enough to peep through resulting in many sad, blistered thumbs; the search began. Having heard good things about silicone oven mitts, I thought I would give those a try. This pair, most likely because they were pink, were on sale at a significant discount; they won the lottery and were ordered. Don't worry, you have 10 other color options. However, the main requirement was that the mitt cover a good portion of the forearm which these do at 14.5 inches. The silicone material (which the ad states is BPA free) coupled with the textured pattern ensure a secure, non-slip grip which has alleviated worrying about dropping the dish or pan. Silicone tolerates very high heat without difficulty (up to 484F unlike cotton mitts according to the ad which makes them safe to use with the grill) eliminating worries about the hot item burning through to the skin. The inside of the mitt is thickly padded, fits securely, and is quite comfortable. The mitts are very easy to clean with no staining or residue absorbed or left behind. The only minor drawback is that for those with very large hands they may fit snugly. Although when my husband tried them on, he noted that the mitts were indeed snug, but they were not uncomfortable at all and did not limit or interfere with his usage of the mitts. Along with great heat protection, these mitts also relieve worries and add an element of security contributing to the enjoyment of cooking. They have been a great addition to our kitchen, and I can recommend them without reservation. Outstanding oven mits. The silicone exterior is durable and easy to clean. The textured surface provides grip, and the cuff length protects your forearm(s). The padding/insulation is comfortable and thick enough to handle hot pots & pans for as long as you realistically need without getting hot.

Thick and comfortable and most importantly keep you from a trip to the urgent care for burns because the oven or grill has outsmarted you again. I’m not the chef in my house and I usually prove that by cooking or trying to cook. Outcomes are met with some positive feedback but other times I get less that 3 stars. All that aside these have made me look like I know what I’m doing. I have grabbed pans and other things with other gloves causing me to scream like I’m in a horror movie or speak in 4 letter words due to them not being able to keep the heat off of my fingers and hands. This set has been the best oven mitt set I’ve ever owned. Absolutely top quality material put together with skill that makes the quality and usefulness go through the roof. Durable and comfortable. The fit is great and goes high enough on your forearm to keep you safe no matter how far you have to reach into the oven or grill. They have held up to my many mishaps proving themselves to be easy to clean as well. Textured surface really comes in handy trying to keep ahold of your hot serving dish. Can’t beat the price on a pair of these. They still look brand new and I’ve had them for months. Great addition to any kitchen.

These are Thick and AWESOME!!! We are always moving the Dutch oven. These long oven mitts are a hit!!! You will withstand high temperatures very well!!!

These are actually my second pair oven mittens I've bought. Four yrs ago I bought them in black and literally used them till somehow they ripped. So I ordered these again in red this time bc the black ones were hard to see against black appliances lol. But they work great. Material is silicone so you literally will not feel any heat from a pot like you would the cloth ones and they are water proof on the outside part so they are times wear I can grab a sponge and wet it with the gloves and not have to worry about the inside getting wet. I also love that the mittens are long so I never have to worry about my forearms accidentally getting burned when I'm pulling out a baking tray. Also bc they are silicone if chicken juice spills on it you literally just just soap and water. No stains!

They are long to protect your arms. Seem like great quality!

Good quality oven mitts but quite expensive for what they are. I do like how the silicon covers the entire length of the gloves and that they are flexible to allow easy grabbing of handles. I can’t say they are good value for the money paid because they are not, they’re just oven mitts, shouldn’t cost more than $50 at the most.
