Seem to be good quality and I can't believe I never had one of these!
I don't know why I waited so long to get some of these. I'm not a seamstress so I never thought of getting them but it turns out, they're super helpful! They seem to be a good quality and I have used them quite a few times. I actually keep one on my office desk and one in my car. I do wish there was a good way to store them but they are very hand to have.

Perfect for circumference measurements!!
With some of these measuring tapes you have to fight the plastic because the folds have memory. With other ones the plastic is so floppy it’s difficult to get it to stay long enough to read. So ideally you’d want a tape with some heft, but pliable enough to be supple when wrapped. This tape leans more toward the floppy end of the spectrum, but still has a little stiffness to it.The folds didn’t translate into the plastic at all, and these tapes can be wrapped or folded however you like without having to worry about memory. The markings for measurements could be a little bigger, or perhaps bolder. But I mostly attribute this to my own eyes, and it’s not the tapes fault I’m getting older. The measurements seem to be accurate, and when compared with three other measuring devices (one of them being a $100 caliper) the measurements appeared pretty spot on! I’ve seen some other tapes in the past with terrible alignment for measuring, but these stay true. The general rule is if you want something extremely accurate you have to spend a bit more money (like the aforementioned caliper) but for what I’m doing with these days they are more than accurate enough. So in conclusion, I’d like the numbers/markings a bit more bold and maybe a little bigger. But if they get too big you sacrifice line space for accuracy. I feel these have a good mix, so maybe just some new eyes for me. Otherwise I definitely recommend checking these out!!

Accurate good quality tape measure pair, not standard seam width.
This set of two tape measures are well made, from strong fiberglass so they will not stretch or shrink, while remaining flexible to the contours of your body. They check off most of what you should look for in a tape measure. First, they begin exactly at 0, so the first inch is exactly 1 inch. There's no indentation or blank space at the beginning to throw off your measurements. Next, they are clearly marked, with big bold numbers in both 60 inches and 150 cm measurements. Again, the fiberglass material ensures they don't stretch or shrink in different conditions or over time, so your markings will always be correct. The bright white and pink stand out so you don't lose them in a crowded room of fabrics and can use them together doing cross measurements and can tell one tape from the other. The only shortcoming is the width of the tape, the best tapes are 5/8" which is the standard seam, and allows you to make that marking without measuring, for some reason these tapes are 1/2" wide. It's not a huge deal but that's the only thing preventing 5 stars.

Works
The measuring tapes are a little thin almost flimsy but they do what they need to. The measurements seem correct and they are easy to pack up when not needed. I am constantly measuring stuff right now because I just moved recently. I recommend them they work.

Accurate and consistent
It seems that I always find myself needing a flexible tape measure for one reason or another. Whether it is measuring my wrist, my head, or a rounded object, I use a string, cut it to size, and then measure it with a steel ruler or steel tape measure.I have used flexible tape measures such as these in the past, but I found that they stretched or shrank with use and, after a while, were no longer accurate.I tested these against one of my very accurate steel rulers, used it for several days measuring all types of things, left it on the windowsill in the sun to see if it would get soft and stretch, and even placed it in the freezer to see if it would shrink. It passed all of the tests and continues to measure accurately. The print is easy to read, and I appreciate the cm scale when I order clothes with European or Asian measurements online.Recommended.Review of: Ryalan Soft Tape Measure Double Scale Body Sewing Flexible Ruler

Had one DECADES ago, these are like a carbon copy
My mother was a seamstress DECADES ago. And the one sole tape measure she used was used over and over again even by me as a child using it as a toy. I remembered how it felt, the texture, the look, how it sounded when you rolled it up and tightened it. It never faded or tore and was a tough piece. This tape, though has not been through the test of time like ours had, it feels and looks exactly the same. The tape matches up well with my Stanley retracting tape measure. There is some stretch to it but only if you forcefully pull it.

Is what its suppose to be?
Well, these seem accurate compared to a ruler, and they're exactly what I needed for a great price! Definitely recommend if you need a soft roll-up measuring tape. Appreciated that it quickly arrived to my front door after I forgot to pick one up from a local store for a few weeks and finally checked Amazon!
