Xlear MAX works great. I use it instead of Flonase. It clears my sinuses within minutes of use. Bonuses are that the ingredients are simple and Xlear MAX is made in the USA.

If you are stuffed up and need relief, this is will open you right up. Since it has pepper in it, start with 1 spray, wait 20 minutes and if you need more, try another. In other words, find out how much your nose needs, I settled on 2 sprays per nostril.

This keeps my sinuses clear for the whole night. I am very happy with the results and reduces my need for a vasoconstrictor type spray.

I do normal saline spray every day and a nasal spray so this didn't burn me that bad since my nose is used to sprays. I bought this because my ears nose and throat doctor told me it was something i need since i always get sinus infections and other sinus issues. My nose was stuff up and i had sinus pressure behind my eyes. I did 2 sprays in each nose and about 15 mins later my nose wasn't stuffed up and i finally started to get some drainage after being stuffed up for 2 weeks. It did burn the box said it would so i did a half spray in each nose instead of full sprays the first time to make sure i could handle it. It burns but not that bad, everyone is different but it wasn't that bad. On a scale of 1-10 it was l a 4 for me. My nose did stuff back up a few hours later so i did 2 more sprays in each nose again and it did still burn just as much as the first time and my nose has been unstuffed every since. I just now did it again and it didn't burn as much as it did the first 2 times. My eye pressure is also gone. I gave it 4 stars out of 5 because i just started using it and i'm not sure if it's a 5 star product yet. My nose does get a little stuffy many hours later and i have to do the spray again so i'm not sure if it's really getting rid of the issue or just not making it as bad. I need something to get rid of my stuffy nose and i've tried everything and this is best thing i've found so far this and the Vicks Inhaler Relief for Cold Sinus Nasal Congestion but you can only use that for a week or you will make things worse.

This max version of XLEAR is clearly more effective than the usual normal strength version! There is only a momentary slight ache in my nose at first, after spraying, but it goes away in a few seconds. I spray two times each nostril and do not blow out the excess liquid before strapping on my CPAP mask and turning on the compressed air. The air pressure pushes the excess up higher into my sinuses, and after the excess spray dries out, my nose is clear as I fall asleep being able to breathe through my nose.

Sadly this product did not work for me. I've had much better luck with standard extra strength saline solutions. But, then, everyone is different. Just sharing. Cheers!

Just a note to all the reviews you will read here. Some people will say it is too strong and burns, some will say the opposite. This is the same for spicy food. Best example I can give is, if I go to a Thai restaurant and they say who spicy 1 to 5. I usually order a 2, maybe 3. I find this spray to be about 1 or 2. So for me, it isn't that hot. In fact, I would like it if they made this with double the strength. My only gripe is it looks like they use some kind of red dye in the product, which is 100% not necessary and no one wants coloring in their body, but so many companies use it. It won't stain your clothes or anything, just not needed and better for your health without it. As for performance, this works but not like Afrin. However Afrin can only be used for a maximum of three days, this can be used indefinitely. When you use it the effects kick in about a minute or two later. The mucus will drain due to the spicy nature of the product. Good for some temporary relief.

I have used the xylitol sprays before but always had to revert to the medicated nasal sprays on bad days. Until this came along! With consistent use, this has finally weaned me off the medicated nasal sprays and keeps me mostly clear so I can sleep and breath. This is a new staple in my daily routine.
