Brightening Cleanser

This Ark skin cleanser is really nice, been using this for a couple of years now and it really does the job. Pricey but worth it and it has no nasty chemicals in it either, lasts a while and leaves skin really soft.

This is an excellent product. It feels lovely in the skin and seems to get creamier with the wet face. It leaves my skin feeling very comfortable. I’ll be using this from now on.

I've tried a number of ARK products, and have liked the overwhelming majority. This is the first one specifically targeting my over-50 age-group. Since reaching this time of life, I've been noticing some skin sensitivity and redness, so have been switching to gentler products. This is a white, almost odourless, cream cleanser, that you massage into a damp face, rinse or wipe off with a wet cloth, then repeat. I'm slightly disappointed the scent isn't a little more prominent or luxurious, but gentle products tend not to have a lot of fragrance, in case it causes irritation. I don't particularly like using a face-cloth, but didn't find it easy to rinse off thoroughly with just water, so I think a cloth is needed in this case. I also don't really like having to cleanse twice. I'll probably scrap the repeat step, as it takes twice as long and uses twice as much product. It does feel quite mild and gentle to use, and my skin feels clean and quite soft afterwards. I don't think I can see any improvement after a few days, but at my age, I didn't expect miracles.

Easy to use and doesn’t irritate my sensitive skin. I apply to wet skin and use a gauze cloth with water to remove. Do not need a lot so I think it will last a while.

I'm quite impressed with this ARK face cleanser. After religiously using it in the morning and evening instead of my usual face cleansers for a week now I can safely say that it does two things to me: -smooths my face which is really nice to touch - very soft -calms down my skin in terms of redness Plus of course it cleanses it. In terms of consistency and use - it is cream like when applied, doesn't generate massive foam and it's definitely creamy when washing. It is very easy to rinse off, which I was afraid might be not the case due to its consistency, but no - no issue. My skin reacts to it well and is definitely calmer. There's the smell which I know but cannot name. Can't say if I like it or not but I smell it mostly during the washing, not after. I'd say give it a go. Might not the be the cheapest (approx £24) but 200ml bottle will last as you don't need much.

Ordered for my partner and she loves this. Arrives in a nice product box so is good for gifting. It looks and feels of a good quality. It is lightly scented My partner says that she only needs a small amount and it leaves her feeling really smooth, soft and clean and has helped with some minor redness issues She is very pleased with this and it is now part of her daily routine, so highly recommended

Lovely hydrating cleanser. Generous size with pump nozzle. Nicely boxed and presented with clear definition of the age group and skin type it's for. Natural ingredients developed and produced in the uk in small batches and never tested on animals. I use this cleanser with a muslin cloth or a silicone brush to get soft sparkling fresh skin. It's a high quality product with good ingredients that feels premium. I really like the Ark brand as everything is age targeted, and recommend looking at their range of products.

This is a very rich, creamy cleanser that felt soothing against my skin (I have rosacea and also flare up from the sun). Normally I use a liquid cleanser but sometimes that feels like it strips my skin so I wanted something gentle and soothing for when my rosacea flared up. The price is similar to another UK brand I use now and then which is a luxury for me but not unreasonable. The cleanser went on well and didn't sink in too much which is good. Now as I'm spot prone with oily products, I found that upon washing this cleanser off, it left my skin quite soft and I didn't need to apply my usual moisturizer over the top of it before bed. If you have dry skin then this cleanser would add an extra soft layer to your skin I imagine. Now it does say 'unscented' but then in the ingredients lists 'parfum' from pure essential oils. So I'm a little confused with that. Perhaps naturally scented? It smells nice anyway.
