No drip
Wonderful product. It’s small, prefect to refill. I like to use syrup in my coffee sometimes and it looks great out on the counter. Best of all, no drip!!

Perfect!
I don't know what the reviewer means when she says you can't fill it all the way. I do and I don't have any problem. Maybe it depends on the brand of syrup/honey you use. I use a sugar free syrup in this and it flows like a dream without any mess. I have 2 types of honey in my kitchen- 1 of them flows great in this and the other honey- not so much. So it seems what kind of product you use will make a difference, (not to mention the climate where you live) but I find that's true with any dispenser. At 6 oz it's small & light enough to put on a tray for breakfast in bed, but not so small that you have to keep refilling it every morning. Sometimes syrup dries at the opening. A quick wiping with a paper towel with a bit of hot water to melts the dried syrup right off. The top is actual metal- not metalic looking plastic so it's good quality. Very happy with this purchase.

Perfect for honey
We use this for daily honey dispensing in our household and I'm so pleased with it. Pouring out of this jar is so much easier than squeezing one of the ubiquitous plastic honey jars and way less messy than using a honey pot. It's held up well for several months and since the base is glass I can boil it to dissolve any crystals at the bottom with zero hassle. One note is that there's a hole at the back of the handle that MUST be clear or a vacuum will form inside the jar and it won't pour. I wash the lid in hot water every few weeks and use a toothpick to clear the hole if it gets plugged in between. It's a tiny amount of maintenance that goes a long way. The jar is also beautiful and looks nice sitting out on our counters!

Don't fill it all the way, and be patient when pouring honey
Perfect for honey, if you are a patient. There is a small air vent at the top, under the handle. If you use it full, when you tip to pour the honey will enter the vent, which will then leak down the back. It works best about half full, when there is enough honey to keep the stream moving, but not so much that the vent is inundated. Too little honey and it takes forever to dispense. The amount of honey delivered per second in the best case is very low, so to use this you need to be patient. Very, very patient. But that's pretty much always the case with honey, isn't it? You'll get a big blob at first, and another big blob when you close the spout, with a thin stream between. Probably can't be helped, given the high viscosity of honey, but this dispenser makes it more controllable than any I've seen except squeeze bottles which gives a high constant flow.

good little no-drip syrup dispenser
Works great! Did not have any leakage issues. A few points to keep in mind (gleaned from others' feedback/reviews and answered questions):1. Don't fill to the top or turn all the way upside down2. Rubber gasket should be inserted with narrower part going up and into the lid. This may be a little tricky, as it doesn't stay in the lid, so it has to be balanced on the glass rim and the lid screwed on carefully to avoid dislodging the gasketIt is quite small, but serves our purpose fine. We keep it filled about half-way with maple syrup, and this is ample for several servings, with no leakage. I would buy again. It does not seem to be extremely durable, but we don't empty/wash after every use (store half-filled in the pantry), so the "metal" lid looks fine.

With minor modification it’s what I was hoping for.
So as you are reading the reviews on this petite dispenser the issue of dripping out of the back seal area comes up frequently. I think the hole that has been engineered into the lid by the handle is supposed to help with free flowing BUT it isn’t actually necessary. So I trimmed a small silicone soft close cabinet sticker and covered it up, reassembled with the inner seal as usual but not even as snugly as before and… voila! No drip! Yay!

Great product
I bought this product as recommended by America's Test Kitchen. The closure is great. Seals nicely to prevent dripping and control the amount of honey that pours out. It's a small size so if you use a lot of honey it might not be the one to buy. Otherwise ATK was right on.

Sturdy and stylish - Perfect for storing and using honey!
I was looking for a different honey dispenser and decided to try this. What a difference! No more leaking containers or drips. It's an attractive design and now my honey can be used without mess or fuss. I thank you and so do my bees!

Works!
This works great. I use it for honey. I haven't had a problem with leaking. Sometimes there's a small excess drip after pouring and closing the lever but that's not unexpected.

Dispenser works very well
Dispenser slide cut off works very well with honey and product looks great. Only downside for me is that I would have liked it to be 10-12oz , as a bit small requiring regular refill.

No Mess
Love this for my honey as it does not leave a sticky mess it shut right away and you can put the right amount in your teas. The only thing it’s really small. I wish it was more medium size.
