The product is great and definitely worth the money. I have it on my 2018 ram promaster for a spare method wheel. Everything fits perfectly. One recommendation I would make is when you are bolting in the bolt itself ,is to purchase a small washer that fits in the bolt hole. It will hold properly and give you a clean look. For the price it’s worth it no need to overpay hundreds of dollars for expensive brand name things. It does the job. Happy holidays everyone

This worked great on a 2017 Chrysler Pacifica. The tilt makes it so the tailgate can be opened. Some longer bolts and nuts were needed to get a full size spare wheel and tire to fit. I had to make a license plate bracket in order to use a tire cover.

It fits well once you get it put together I was skeptical of the product because I am running 17in wheels on 33s for it to fit properly I need to order a spacer the bolts are kind of small I wish it had thicker bolts. It fits great swings down great the only thing is you have to relocate the license plate which isn’t a big deal but it is a pain. I do really like that it sits below the window so it does not interfere with any mirrors. Overall a decent product I paired it with a anti shake hitch attachment which is necessary without it shakes way to much

Was skeptical at first but after installing it's a really nice unit a lot cheaper than setting up a swinging tire mount just as effective plus it folds down and the tailgate still opens in my 85 Jeep Scrambler.

Bought my husband this for Christmas and it doesn’t fit our 2022 UtV Polaris general not even the bolt pattern fits the spare tire. Ruined my husband‘s Christmas.

This was heavier duty than I expected, but it is NOT able to work with larger 35 inch truck tires. You might be able to make it work, but you have to pull the carrier all the way out of the receiver to the very last hole and it doesn't seem nearly as safe or stable. Otherwise the tire hits the tailgate. If the hitch were longer with an additional hole or two I think it would be a LOT better.Also, getting a heavy tire lifted up and bolted onto this thing is IMPOSSIBLE. I put the plate against the wheel on the ground and attached it, then somehow managed to lift and position it in place (using a lawn chair) so I could put the pivot bolt thru. It was a nightmare. If you got small light weight tires, it'll probably work fine for you, but this is NOT made for bigger tires or off-roading by any means.The other thing is, it doesn't pivot down far enough to lower the tailgate. It will hit against the carrier every time unless you remove the smaller bolt under the carrier that prevents it from going all the way down.Overall a great idea, but it wasn't designed well. Got to send mine back. Not worth the risk of property or other drivers if it doesn't hold.

So I bought this for highway use when going to the coast. I use it on a CRV-Hybrid. The CRV comes with the flat kit, etc. I purchased a full size rim and tire because who wants to be stuck on the side of the road in the middle of the night trying to use a flat kit/phoning a tow company/trying to buy another tire in an emergency. Problem with a full spare in the CRV? Takes up a lot of room in the back and I don't like putting it on the roof rack for extended periods of time. This mount works fine for my use. No problems. Frees up the storage area in back of the CRV.
