I do like that the housing shrinks around the wire though I'm not sold on the idea that the heat gun actually melts the metal down. I actually crimp it, as I am so used to doing that and then heat shrink as well. Need idea for solar on the roof

Item was exactly what my husband wanted

Manufacturer thinks more of the "better features" than is actually delivered. The crimp ferril could be a bit longer and the wall thickness (which is touted in the listing) is thinner than I would expect. At the end of the day there is enough material and current capacity it will get the job done. This was used for in-line of power and E-Break for a trailer 7-Way connector.
