Have helped me a lot but two problems need fixing
I gave these compression socks 4 stars because of two issues I think need to be improved, but first, I must say that wearing time all the time during the day has helped my energy level a lot. I guess I didn't realize that the veins in my legs were not what they used to be and that I felt tired when on my feet for some time, pretty much due to that. I am an active 75 year old, still do sports, etc. So, I highly recommend them, in general. These socks as I said could use improvement in two ways. First, there is no need for the top band to be done in such a way as to cause deep indentations in your leg at the end of the day. These socks will stay up, period. Loosen up that top band please! It is not needed. (PS. I am not a heavy person, so that is not the problem.) Second problem: the toes. I tried a number of compression socks early on and returned most of them, one common reason had to do with the construction of the toe. The elastic went all the way and caused my toes to be bunched up, which was very uncomfortable and not good for you feet. These socks have gone some way to solving that problem by creating a toe that, for want of a better term, I will call a "balloon toe". In no way is there a ballooned out section, but instead the final part of the sock is not made of the same elasticized material. That sold me on these socks, but the second set I bought seem to have reduced the area of elastic-free material that is devoted to the toes. In fact, they should have enlarged it because the elastic starts over the little toe and the same sort of compression is there as was in the other brands of socks I returned, though of course not to the same extent. Fix these two problems and these are the perfect compression socks.

Comfortable socks
Very cute and comfortable socks. I started working from home and realized my ankles started swelling so my PCP suggested these socks at my annual physical appt. I havenโt had any swelling since and it helps prevent blood clots. They are not as tight as the hospital grade socks but get the job done. The hospital grade ones are hard to put on anyway so these are perfect. Great purchase and quality.

Sizing seems based upon women
Update October 2022Now these have been washed multiple times, what started off as too little in the foot length is now impossibly short. Too late for me to exchange them, but, if you are a man, I recommend the large/XL option.FYI, I take a USA Size 10 shoe.====================================Excellent value. I have not owned them long enough to comment on multi wash durability.I am neither tall nor fat (stocky?) but the small/medium I bought are really too short in the foot. I take a men's size 10 shoe. I suspect the sizing is based upon women.I would have exchanged them if I hadn't washed them before wearing them, but, at the price, it isn't worth the effort as I can wear them with just minor discomfort at the toes.

Very good compression socks.
I spend a lot of time on my feet, so these are extremely useful for me. I would also recommend them for anyone who has to sit down for a long time. These are the most comfortable compression socks that I have ever purchased. Normally I would have to look for those that are made for people with thick legs, So I am very happy this friend, and will definitely purchase again.

They wash well.
For arthritic hands they are difficult to put on and keep the designs straight, but are comfortable to wear once on.
