Blazer International C8014 ATV Spotlight

Ok, so i mounted this on my sport ATV yesterday, and although the instructions say connect one of the wires to the negative post on mt ATV battery and the other wire to the ATV accessories shoe , i connected both wires to negative and positive. I did this because logically looking at the set up, it seemed the only way to connect the thing. Low and behold my battery died in like 15 minutes out on the trail. I give this 5 stars because it mounts good, very bright, and a great price. Because i followed my own instructions i am going to blame myself, not the light for a dead battery...

Works good on my quad. It swivels on the mount and you can remove it for handheld. Not the brightest light but works good.

Nice little light for the money. The clamp that attaches to the ATV could be improved a little. The one bolt that holds the light to the ATV broke on me before it was even tight on the ATV rack / bar. Bought SS bolt and nuts. This pretty much fixed everything. Was slightly loose though. May need a shim to get it super tight.Has terminals made to bolt onto you battery. I replaced it with a DC cigarette lighter plug. Works great. Can get 12 volt DC cigarette plug from Amazon. Now I can take the light with me if I care to. Use it in the truck or boat.

I got this light because someone I know has them on their atv's. It works ok. Nice to have a light that you can move around. The light isn't that bright by itself but surves its purpose. I took my atv on a weekend long trail riding camping trip and the nut and weather proofing over the button vibrated off and the fixture wouldn't stay upright. The button broke recently so I took it off and will try to replace the button so I can still use it. Don't think I would buy another one but it works ok.

Honestly speaking, this light is not that great. I did not mount. Took out of the box and used my jump box in my super dark basement. 30 feet and the spot was dim. For 35 watts I as expecting bright. I am returning it. Not a bad light if you need one or really want one. My ryobi tek4 small flashlight puts out 10 times the light. I can't bad mouth the light since I did not use it in the woods. I rather use a true led light not a flashlight with a blue lense

Whoever designed this thing knew what they were doing. it fit perfectly and works great. light is very bright and can be removed from the bracket for a hand held spotlight.

Good enough considering the reasonable price ...
