Very happy
I purchased this iron about a year ago. I wanted an iron that would be effective up to 8awg wire. It took about a minute, but it did a good job. This us the heaviest work i have done thusfar with the iron, but i am happy with it. The temp adjust seems to work, but to be honest i only ever use it on high. This tip is also nice to work with and easy to clean. Handle is fine, easy to grip and does not over heat. My max working time is 1 hour at a time and never had a problem. Takes about 1 minute to fully heat from cold and maintains good constant heat while working. I would bye again.

The temperature does not go over 200 degrees celcius and is not useful
I received this yesterday. It looked great until I realised I was not able to raise the temperature over 200 degrees celcius. Hence, mostly useless. I will be returning it soon.

Good iron .... until it wasn't
Lightweight, F and C scale easily adjusted. I like the quick buildup of heat. Gets to work fast....The above is what I said when I first bought the iron. Now, it's not so great. The heat transfer is next to non-existent. I changed out the soldering tip when this issue first arose. I have double-checked that I put everything back in place correctly. But the iron just isn't as good now as it was months ago. Soldering anything -- diodes, IC sockets, etc. -- is a chore. I fear I'm leaving behind cold solders. Worse, I'm wasting time struggling with this iron and then having to perform minute tests afterwards in addition to the general testing I perform after a finished board.I have tightened the bottom ring to ensure a firm hold on the heating element. I don't really know what else to do. I most likely will buy another iron.
