She loves watching ET after seeing it on telly when her older sister was watching. Sadly all the plush toys are a tad odd looking. But this one is perfect. Still obviously ET but with an added toddler element. And the sounds are gentle and his voice is a bit slower and easier for her to understand. He’s absolutely lovely. And his heart beat changes BPM when he is awake or asleep. She was very excited to take him to bed with her last night.

I tried it out myself while in the box to make sure everything worked ok before wrapping it for Christmas. I was well impressed with it ! It says several of the well known ET movie phrases like - " ET phone home etc ". His chest - heart also lit up like in the movie, while it played the enchanting ET movie theme tune. It's quite impressive ! It's also well made, nice soft & plush & a really good quality cuddly toy ! My niece's little one was well happy with it ! I highly recommend it as a great little entertaining, interactive plush cuddly toy ! You won't be disappointed & a decent price too !

This is so cute. There is other reviews that say they have received ones that speak in a different language. Mine came speaking English but after daughter had been playing with it for a bit it started speaking in a different language also! I later discovered that if you undo the back it has a small round button that you press and hold and it goes through about 3 different languages so that you can set it to the one you want. Hope this helps for the other people who have bought this and its arrived speaking a different language :)
