I initially had an issue with the tank. There was a flaw in it that prevented the rings from properly attaching to it. I immediately contacted the Support team and received a response in less than a day. After a few messages between me and the team, the issue was resolved and my indoor Farmstand is up and running successfully. I'm at the two week point and I'm looking forward to harvesting my produce soon.

We were super excited to get our farmstand. Then we started putting it together and things changed. The top of the base is warped and would not accept the first growing level. Only 3 of the 4 locks will stay in place at one time while the other side pops out of place. Unfortunately, the only way to contact the company is by submitting online (no phone numbers posted). When I submitted my request online they said allow a few days for a response. Needless to say this is not how we were hoping to start out with our brand new purchase (which was not cheap). I will gladly amend this review if I actually get a response and a new base that actually accepts the growing level. Until then I would say buyer beware!!! We will have to wait and see if we return everything or if the company will actually stand behind their product. Update: Today is June 29. My support request was submitted to them on June 24, and still zero response, and no other way to contact them. This company apparently has no care for customer support!!

I absolutely LOVE this thing!! I have spent the past year setting up pretty large garden in my backyard, but wanted to grow food year round. I had lettuce and strawberries in pots in my kitchen, but I just could not keep them growing. I saw videos of hydroponic towers and decided to try it out. I got the 18 plant, indoor Farmstand, and it was super easy to set up. When it is watering it does sound like there is a broken water pipe somewhere, but you quickly get used to the sound. This tower is not massive, and fits perfectly in a corner in my kitchen. There were 18 seedlings included in this purchase, but it was a pre-currated mix. Turns out I was allergic to a few of the seedlings in the bundle, so I reached out to Lettuce Grow and explained this to them. They were super nice and allowed me to pick the seedlings, instead of having to get pre-currated mix. I have had the tower for a week and half now, and the growth is amazing! I can't wait to be able to start harvesting!

EVERYTHING IS PERFECT AND WHEN I HAD QUESTIONS PRODUCT CAME QUICKLY IT WAS VERY EASY TO PUT TOGETHER IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS CUSTOMER SERVICE IS THROUGH EMAIL BUT THEY REPLY IMMEDIATELY AND THEY ARE VERY NICE PROFESSIONAL AND THOROUGH MY SUGGESTION IS WHEN PUTTING THE CORDS TOGETHER FOR THE OPENING WHERE THE GASKET IS HAVE THEM COMING FROM ABOVE INSTEAD OF THE BOTTOM SO THAT YOU WON’T THINK YOU HAVE A LEAK AS YOU WILL SEE HOW I HAVE IT IN THE VIDEO OTHER THAN THAT HURRY GO GET YOU ONE

I LOVE this thing. 4 weeks in and the lettuce is huge and beautiful and delicious and it’s so fresh and perfect!!! We keep it up n my heated garage and I get to keep up my garden hobby during the cold snowy winters here and we can keep eating fresh produce year round.

My LG is 3 years old and was purchased on the LG website. It’s moved across the country with me, I still use and love it. 1. Assembly is fine. All of the tiers (including lights) are twist and click. You can add and subtract tiers as needed which is convenient however, it can suck taking it back apart for maintenance. 2. Customer Service - also 4/5 stars. This is not a large company with a call center so you need to set the correct expectations. I hate talking on the phone but sometimes feel it’s necessary. All communication is done through text or email so there can be unnecessary back and forth. Solution: in the initial email response from customer service, allow the customer to request a call back if they’re still having issues. This will probably solve 90% of your customer service complaints and allow the company to schedule calls. 3. Glow Rings - they look so sleek on this unit in comparison to a DIY method and honestly I love the Zenon aesthetic. The complaints about the plastic melting however, are true. Make sure you activate your warranty because they replaced all of mine for free including free shipping but they do require you to send back the faulty lights within a certain window. If you don’t return them within that window, you’ll be charged for the new lights. Also, the connection ports or whatever for the lights could be a better design. They can definitely take on water easily if not connected properly or wear down. Do yourself a favor and get some plumbers tape to seal it off. 4. Electricity usage - people complaining about this are complaining about literal pennie’s. It’s really not that serious. 5. Yes, it’s expensive with or without lights. Honestly I can build a hydroponic system myself but it’s going to look ugly af and I want something that looks nice. If you prune and don’t harvest a whole head of lettuce, and you just take what you need, some plants can last months. Eventually, you can definitely “get your money back” in savings on what you produce vs buy. 6. You don’t have to buy their seedlings if you don’t want to. It’s really that simple. Just get some root riot or rapid rooter and plant your own seeds. Just do research on what does best hydroponically. I stick to leafy greens and herbs. Fruiting plants (tomatoes, peppers, strawberries, etc) get too big indoors and I don’t want woody plants pushing on the lights. They also take different nutrients than greens so they won’t taste the best if you’re mixing plant types. You’re better off with the kratky method if you want to stick to hydroponics and have both lettuce and tomatoes. The pump will wear down and break. That’s not the companies fault. It’s a smaller pump pushing water a lot higher than your standard fish tank. Buy a back up pump, preferably a little stronger than what they give you, it’s worth it. If the pump is too loud you can buy an aquarium bio filter sponge to put on the top tier where the water is pumping out. All in all, do your research. There’s a Facebook group, subreddit, YouTube, google etc. to find the information you need. It produces a lot for me and I love having fresh greens in the kitchen. Plus, everything tastes sooo much better than store bought. Are there some changes I would make if I could? Of course but I definitely don’t regret the purchase.
