This photo was taken at nighttime with only one bedside lamp on with a 60 watt equivalent bulb. While this product is plastic and kind of cheap looking, it is also small and sleek and makes a rainbow that has surprisingly intense colors and brightness for its size and the fact it’s running off batteries (I did not buy an adapter, while it doesn’t come with one the instructions include what type is compatible). My son asked for a rainbow for Christmas and this was a perfect solution. It shuts off quickly, but this conserves batteries. I’d like it to stay on a bit longer or have the option of more than one choice of time before it automatically shuts off. We have only had it a few days so I can’t speak to longevity, but given its low price I think this is not as much of a concern as a higher priced item would be.

Bought for my 3 year old granddaughter, she loves it! if she happens to wakes up, she will call mommy and tell her to please turn on her rainbow, cause it does not stay on all night, but long enough for her to fall asleep. The colors are wonderful, you can make it small or large. She likes it, all the way across her room and she stays in her room all night.

My 4.5 year old daughter is obsessed with this thing. She won’t sleep without it. I think we have to bring it to travel with. It could be brighter. Nonetheless, for the price, it’s pretty great. It projects a rainbow over her entire bed perfectly.

This is absolutely adorable. To be perfectly honest I was a little worried because the box is in Chinese. It would not be good give as give with box. Makes product look cheap! I was shocked at the brightness. My daughter is going to love it. I didn’t notice it was battery powered. I bet this will go through batteries quick. Giving it all 5 bc it is perfect for Santa to leave for my daughter!!! Can’t wait for her to see it Christmas morning!

I really like this little light I just wish it stayed on longer. In the directions it states if you buy a power cord it will stay on until you turn it off however that is not true unfortunately it still turns off after 10 minutes. I would like to find one that stays on.

Got this for my daughter, she’s in the rainbow and unicorn stage and loved everything with it. Doesn’t have a night light and thought this would be perfect. The ONLY thing I’d change about this product is the timer doesn’t last too long but other then that 9/10. The colors are great, there’s separate modes and I love it because of how much my daughter does.

This was a Christmas gift for my daughter. It was very cool at first but after 5 weeks of use two of the bulbs (the blue and the purple) have burned out so it doesn't really look like a rainbow anymore since all the colors are no longer projected. And as of today I am 5 days over the return window so I guess I'm out of luck. Bummer.

This makes for an impressive night light. It stays on long enough to not be too distracting at night but puts on a vibrant show.
