A Word On Death by Saint Ignatius Brianchaninov

One of the best Books I've ever read. I'm so grateful he wrote these Books. They all free you from Delusion. Highly Recommend Orthodox Christians to read his Books. I also Recommend anybody else to read all his Books.

My second copy.Text is good and readable (I am not too great of a fan of the translator, a massive amount of books in a short time suggests computer generated translations).Not just death, but faith is discussed. Death is explained, the soul, the body but in very accessible language.Essentially a spiritual book. Taken from the vantage point of the end of life.For an Eastern Orthodox Christian death is differently viewed (see Documentary on Mt Athos, by “60 minutes” [YouTube], where the same topic is actually shown).Good book. Western Christians mighty have to overcome themselves to read it??

We definitely need to Watch !This book prepares us for what is to come !Strongly recommend !

The content is great and so I give it 4 stars. It loses a star due to the terrible translation into English. It's SUPER AWKWARD and I constantly find myself having to reword it and correct verb tenses. It reads like it was Google tranlated.

I have not read this book yet but my son ordered one and he absolutely loved it can't wait to get into it
