Good Sturdy stainless stand.
Good Sturdy stainless stand, be careful when releasing as the spring loading will make the top jump up with force, and could injury the unwary

Quality Stands
These stainless steel stands, with metal fittings (rather than plastic) have a quality feel to them. Being stainless steel they will be ideal for use in all environments. They are solid without being too heavy. Whilst not mentioned in the description mine came with the spring loaded buffers to reduce the shock if a clamp is loosened and the light drops downward unintentionally. When purchased in pairs, particularly when on offer, these are very good value.

Brilliant. Impressed with it so far.
Really well designed stand. Super strong and a very impressive reach. I I'm loving that on the highest height you can actually have the legs relative slimline so that this doesn't stick out and create a trip hazard... The stand stays solid at this point but does make your light/camera a tiny but wobbly... And the spring loaded design is great too. Overall a very nice stand and worth the money!

THE WIND WON'T BLOW THIS OVER!
As a Wedding and portrait photographer, I have used may light stands over the years and on a windy day they are forever blowing over, but not this one! It is made from really sturdy stainless steel and the joints are really solid. There are internal springs to stop anything getting damaged or you accidentally trapping your hand if you loosen it to quick. The tripod head is really versatile and you can use it to mount your Speedlight/Softbox horizontally or vertically with either a 1/4-inch or 3/8-inch head . The tripod legs have a really wide spread, so even if it is blowing a gale outside it won't knock this bad boy over! Even though it is a heavy duty light stand, it is really easy to transport when packed down and fits in the boot of my car easily. This is now my go to light stand for Weddings and I always have it in the boot of my car. I also use it to hold my backgrounds for head shot photography, as some of them are really heavy and this won't topple over like my old lightweight aluminium ones.

Very sturdy
Love this purchase! I had trouble with my original stand for the ring light in my permanent make up studio, it was not safe at all. But this tripod can handle a lot! Highly recommend!

Great quality
Bought this as a replacement for a broken stand. It doesn’t fold up as small but the quality and sturdiness more than make up for it. I had a large light and soft box attached and it held straight. Light weight too, would recommend

A great buy!
I do not regret this purchase. After buying another one some time back which barely lasted a year, I became super picky about my replacement purchase. I'd seen so many reviews of other products where the stand would tilt over, or break quickly so I held back for a good while until I came across this one. This one is sturdy, looks professional, stands tall and hold my phone well, as well as my ring light. I've kept it set up and keep it in a corner of the room is it doesn't take up much space. It has some weight to it, and of course, being stainless steel, it would. But it is sturdy and I'm glad I came across this one. No more plastic stands.
