This is really great to have in our backyard where we have a lot of deer traffic. This is an incredibly well built feeder that looks good, works great, and the assembly was a piece of cake. It's super easy to use. This can hold four 40lb bags of corn up to 200lbs which is awesome! The bluetooth connectivity is solid. We can connect to it from about 40ft away inside our home. Initially, I could connect to but not enter the device so I called customer support and they were able to tunnel in and perform a reset to make it work. That was great! Use this feeder exclusively for corn. Otherwise, if it's smaller than corn, it will pour right out, and if it's something like fortified cottonseed, it will jam up the delivery system. With corn, the only time corn leaks out is if it's pulled out by the deer. It would be great if there was a screen on the delivery device that allows the corn to sling out, but prevents the deer from getting their tongue in there. That's minor though. Side note - squirrels have caught on and hang out with the deer. We have had so much fun with this feeder. We aren't hunters and we are mindful of providing an unlimited food source, which could force a bit of population growth, but we only have been feeding times twice daily with 6 second spins to give these guys a snack on their way by.

My husband loves this feeder. We have other brands that do the job but aren’t as good as this one. The lid actually screws on this one the others we have it doesn’t. It’s not as tall which is awesome for refilling and it doesn’t throw the corn a half mile away from feeder into weeds. Holds 4 bags of corn we buy with easy very sturdy didn’t wobble one time. Very easy to use and refill and set up. Takes regular batteries and has place to clip and connect cameras. Thick plastic and made good! Solid black and so far no squirrels have messed with the actual feeder but I’m sure they are at the buffet on the ground (

I’ll be honest — I almost gave this feeder one star after my first week with it. Pellets were barely trickling out, deer weren’t showing up, and I thought I’d wasted my money. Then I realized my mistake, and once I fixed it, this thing became one of the best purchases I’ve made for my property. Here’s what nobody tells you upfront: this feeder does NOT work with powdered or fine-ground feed. I was running a powdered mineral/corn blend and it clogged the dispensing mechanism almost immediately. The powder clumps, bridges across the opening, and eventually just stops flowing altogether. Zero deer activity, total frustration. The fix? Switch to pellets. 100%. Once I loaded it up with standard deer pellets, it ran like a dream. Consistent, reliable dispensing every time. My trail cam started lighting up within 48 hours — bucks, does, even a couple of young ones coming in on a regular schedule. What I love: ∙ Rock-solid build quality. This thing feels like it was made to survive seasons, not just a summer. ∙ Easy to mount and adjust height ∙ The timer is simple to program — even for a guy like me who avoids instruction manuals ∙ Pellets dispense evenly without jamming ∙ Motor is quiet, which I think keeps deer from spooking What to know going in: ∙ Powdered feed = clogs = heartbreak. Don’t do what I did. ∙ Only use pelletized deer feed, protein pellets, or corn/pellet blends ∙ A slight learning curve on the timer settings, but nothing a 10-minute read of the manual won’t solve Bottom line: if you go in knowing it’s a pellet-only feeder, you’ll be extremely happy. I’m dropping one star because that limitation isn’t clearly stated anywhere on the packaging, and I wasted two bags of powder feed learning the hard way. But the feeder itself? Genuinely impressive for the price. Pellets only. You’ve been warned — and rewarded. 🦌

arrived in plenty of time for christmas. the product itself seems like a good one, my son was delighted with it and said it should be a really good one, he was pleased with the way it operates and the ease to setting it up

So far so good, arrived and immediately put it together. Only thing missing was 2 missing lock washers. No big deal breaker to me, had extras. Appearance, quality, and stability has always been great for these feeders. Only reason why I bought this was my last one just got just destroyed from a nasty pig.

Three months and it looks like the motor or timer is bad. Whichever, it has stopped working and no longer dispenses corn for the deer and turkeys. This is a waste of money.

We went on a trip and needed a trustworthy way to feed our dog. I had purchased an automatic dog feeder in the past but found that if the dog knocked into it or a cat decided to jump on it, the weight would reset and the feeder would no longer go off. We invested in this product and are so happy we did. I ended up buying puppy chow because the bits were smaller than the dog food our pupper normally ate. It worked wonderfully. We did fashion a “surround” for it using zip ties and screen so the food wouldn’t go flying far (that would just be mean!). I’m sure our dog would’ve been up to the challenge of finding all the pieces, but we had it fall just below the unit in a relatively nice pile. The unit was very easy to assemble, had no missing parts, and it looks good even right next to the house. The feeder is a great size and you can adjust the height of the legs as desired. It is very windy where we live and the unit didn’t tip over. It operates off of AA batteries and is extremely easy to program. There is also a “key” or “legend”, if you will, on the lid to the battery/setting compartment so you do not have to hold onto any instructions or look up how much food is dispensed in “X” number of seconds. I highly recommend either for use as a deer feeder or dog food feeder. :)
