This is the third case I've tried for my iPhone 8 and I'm done looking. The first case was too bulky. The second one was too slim to protect the screen. This one is just right.This translucent, dark gray case is an attractive alternative to a clear case, especially if your phone is a color that goes well with gray.The case fits my phone well and is easy to remove. The buttons are easy to press. The matte finish is not grippy but it isn't slippery either. There is a shallow but effective grip molded into each side of the case below the buttons. The hole around the lightning port is large enough that my generic cable fits, even though it has a larger connector than an Apple cable.I have a glass screen protector on my phone (regular style, not full-coverage). The bumper is just deep enough to keep the screen protector from touching when I place my phone face down.This case isn't heavy-duty, but I expect that it will protect my phone from scratches and minor drops.If I could change one thing, it would be this: on the sides, the area immediately around the buttons is lighter colored than the rest of the case, most likely because the case material is thinner there so the buttons can be pressed. I don't love that, but I can live with it.The overall appearance and feel of the case is very pleasing. I've had it on my phone for a few days and I plan to continue using it.

Just got this case a few days ago but really like it. Texture makes the phone easy to hold. Even though it is only very slightly slimmer than my previous Spigen case, this Anker case makes the phone feel new. It is minimal in design but being able to see the iPhone logo faintly through the case maintains some elegance. If you want maximum protection, this case is not for you (and you should get something like an Otterbox). For me, it is finally finding the right compromise of slimness, protection, and grip.

Update:Superglue has this pop socket stuck on here forever! Hasn’t fallen off since.Also, because of my original troubles, Anker offered me a $10 voucher for something like a charging cable, etc. They were super helpful, kind, and compassionate! I love Anker products, even with this little mishap. I also have one of their bluetooth speakers I can’t recommend enough. It’s fantastic.Thanks, Anker!Original review:Pop sockets do not permanently stick to this phone case. This is the second phone case I’ve ordered that my pop socket won’t stay stuck to. It’ll seem like it’s stuck as long as you’re not holding the phone face down by the pop socket. But if you’re like me, and you lay in bed with your phone over your face, you will slap yourself in the face with your iPhone and bruise the bridge of your nose because the phone calls off the pop socket. I’m giving it three stars because if I didn’t want a pop socket on the case, I would love it. Affordable, protects the corners, camera, and if it falls face down. But my bruised nose keeps me from giving this 5 stars. Buyer beware.

I love love love this case! Fits the iPhone 8 perfectly. I had a clear case on for the benefit of being able to see the actual phone itself but was scratching up and retaining dust. This Karapax case actually comes with a peelable sticker seal on the inside of the case, I'm guessing to keep out dirt and dust, to peel off before you actually place your phone in it. Which I thought was GREAT. With the matte texture on the back, you don't have to worry about fingerprints or hardly any marks at all. Seems like everything just wipes away with proper cleaner. You get the luxury of being able to see your actual phone through this case without the inconvenience of fingerprints, scratches, and visible dust. A visibly appealing, protective phone case for $10! Worth it!

I bought the Anker case because I recently bought an iPhone 8 and the Anker Wireless Charging Pad for iPhone. The phone is charging perfectly through the case. The case works well for me and has a nonslip surface (very important because the 8 has a glass surface and is very slippery). Have not dropped it yet so cannot report on this (hope I never have to). Switches work well through the case.

I've had this case for about a week, and so far so good! You can still see through the case to see the apple on the back of the phone, but it's not like the typical clear cases that get scratched easily and turn a yellow color. The edges are raised a little above the screen which is nice for extra protection. I have an iPhone 8 and it fits perfectly. Only downside to this order was shipping. I ordered it with next day delivery and didn't get it for 3 days.

The fit is great. It will not protect from drops.

Very happy with this case. I love that you can see through to the body of the phone beneath. Feels much more premium than the price would suggest, and much nicer than Apple's official version.
