My son uses this for his plyometrics routines!!
So my son who is an aspiring basketball player has been working on plyometrics routines, and the harsh impact of landing/jumping on the ground is tempered a bit with this matt. I highly recommend it, for anyone trying to soften the impact of jumping in place!

Great mat but not a fan of the design
The mat does not move even on a smooth surface. The mat is great at reducing noise, cushioning the impact of your ankles and knees for long workout sessions. I'm not a fan of the big foot feet I would narrow the feet it if they insist on keeping the design, not a fan jump rope graphic either you can use this mat however you want, I think it would have more of a universal appeal if it had less designs on it I wouldn't put this in a living room because of how it would clash with most modern Grey, Silver, Black furniture and decorations. It's a personal gripe I have and am still giving it 5 stars since it excels in every other way.

Jump rope mat
The mat is great for protecting my wood floor when I’m exercising and jump roping. But it does slow down my jump rope when it hits on every jump, so that’s why I gave it 4 stars.

Good jumping mat.
Provides enough space to jump without having the mat move around. Have not had any issues with it moving. The price is comparable to other exercise mats on the market. I actually returned one I had in favor of keeping this one.

Worth the money
I used to use yoga mat but found out it doesn’t work the same way. I was thinking it’s kinda more pricy than yoga mat and why. Until I got it on hand. It’s way heavier and more solid. Def not replaceable. Every single dime is worthy

Nice, Quality Mat for Jumping
The media could not be loaded. I've been an avid jump-roper for the last 2 or so years and words cannot express how happy I am to finally have a mat to jump on that is made specifically for jumping. It truly is a non-slip, anti-wear and sweat resistant mat. I've been jumping on it for over a month now (outdoors) and it still looks brand new. My ropes haven't gotten chewed up from hitting the the mat either, which is a huge plus since I have a weighted and rather expensive set of ropes. While I don't sweat nearly as much jumping in the fall/winter, I still sweat enough to be annoyed by any amount of moisture that lands on my mat and doesn't immediately disappear - which is does here. It has the perfect amount of density - not too much where it's too soft/feels like you're sinking, but enough to lessen the impact to your knees/ankles.What's stopped me from getting a jump-rope mat until now is that #1, they can be expensive (or at least the nice ones are), and #2, the majority of them are all circle/oval shaped and I hate it. I'm used to jumping on longer, more narrow yoga/Pilates mats so switching to a short, wide mat does nothing to spark my interest, especially since I jump outside on my narrow, apartment balcony. I also do a lot of HIIT style workouts with my ropes that require floor work (planks, push-ups, crunches, etc.) which is not conducive with a round mat. I love that this one has the long/narrow shape to it with the same density/surface that I'm used to (and enjoy) jumping on.A lot of the reviews mention the price point being too high, but if you look around and compare style/shape, material, and density, the cost is pretty average. If you're new to jumping rope I def. wouldn't recommend buying a $50+ mat until you are 100% certain and committed to jumping on a regular basis. If you're only going to be jumping once or twice a week for 10 minutes/time, spending the money on this mat would be a complete waste. But if you jump every day like I do and/or for long periods of time, I think this mat is totally worth the buy and great for your workouts.

Great product
Excellent product; stays flat when opening, as it doesn't create a memory when rolled up.Slides just a little when placed on tile, but overall it's much better than other overpriced mats.Highly recommend.
