Product is good quality, however, faced a few issues. Firstly, the bottle of base coat (probably the most important part) was damaged and had completely reacted/hardened in the bottle. So I was unable to use it at all. Luckily, I had another base coat (from a different kit) so was able to use that. Secondly, all of the powders had messed/leaked inside the box, so a quantity of each one was lost. Box also wasn’t sealed when it arrived, so may have been previously opened and/or returned and then resold.Would appreciate it if the seller could contact me to rectify/replace the damaged parts.

It makes the whole excitement die down.

As the base dip bottle is not in good condition, hence it’s difficult to apply base dip.

Love the colors awesome, great amount of powder in the jars but, the top coat which is the third step in the application process was dried and hardened like glue in the bottle so unfortunately unable to use and there is no way to purchase the different applicators separately. Easy to use for beginners.

I am in no way expert in doing dip nail polish. This was my first time trying it. Ever since the pandemic hit, I've been avoiding the salons and got used to the comfort of doing my mani and pedi at home. I enjoy doing them at my own time and at my own pace. I had heard of dip nail powder but had never tried it. I found this set and read the reviews. The price can't be beat! I tried it for the first time yesterday and I love it! I have to keep practicing, but I like how easy it was to use. I saw one video on youtube first to get the general idea of how to do it. I avoided the base touching my skin and cuticles and that helped not to make a mess. I also had an orange stick close by to remove any excess base liquid/powder that was too close to my cuticles. The product dries fast enough and the instructions are easy to read and follow. I can't wait to try all the other different colors that came with this set. The only thing hard to use at first was the base, it was kind of sticky and a bit difficult to use at first, I kept shaking it and it became manageable but that's the only thing I found hard to work with. I'm thinking of getting a replacement so I can keep using the powders. All the other bottles were fine. If you're thinking of trying dip powder for the first time, buy this set, it comes with everything you need! :)

This was my first try at a dip manicure. I am not an expert at nail polish; I always seem to get polish on my skin or bump the nails when they’re still wet, etc. 🤦‍♀️ I’ll share some of my pros for this kit: The kit is pretty & well-organized & it’s a nice selection of nude colors. It shipped quickly, and the company is pleasant to communicate with. The instructions were clear & easy to follow, and the product worked just as described. It indeed dries really quickly - much quicker than gel polish or regular polish. Cons - I got my first chip one week after application when opening the tab on top of a can.This specific product aside, I’ll share some observations that might be helpful if you’re new to dip powder like me. The result reminded me of acrylic nails - there’s a visible thickness. That can be pretty but if it’s not applied perfectly - especially some on the cuticle - it really stands out. The removal process is quite similar to gel polish - it took me about 15 minutes of soaking in 100% acetone. The polish gums up and dissolves. This manicure was a bit harder on my nails than gel manicures have been - particularly on a couple nails that the polish got chipped/ripped off accidentally - it messed up the nail bed a bit. I have had better staying power with at home gel manicures (also Gellen brand) - they’ve lasted up to 3 weeks without chipping. I would like to try the dip powder again with greater prep, particularly of my cuticles. With more careful attention to not getting the product anywhere it’s not supposed to be, I’d like to see if it would last longer. Hope that helps! :)

A bit of a learning curve, but overall this product is pretty easy to use at home. Quick drying time and a nice gloss finish. Comparable look to a gel manicure with a lighter acrylic feel. Durable so far and with a nice assortment of colors. I found my true nude in this kit and am looking forward to trying an ombré dip with it after this manicure grows out.I suggest waiting a few minutes between top coat applications or being sure to use an extremely thin layers because it will stay tacky and won’t dry completely. If you find that it won’t dry, Remove top coat with acetone and wash with soap and water. Buff off any residue (trust the process, it will come off). Reapply a thin layer of activator and let dry completely. Reapply top coat in thinner layers and let dry for a few minutes and your manicure is salvaged.Other than that, follow the directions to the T. This set is a little finicky, but not hard to use if you go by the letter.
