Pearl Izumi Men's Pro Softshell Lite Glove

I've had these for a couple months now and have used them on at least a dozen rides in temps ranging from -3°C-12°C. They are comfortable, grippy and keep your hands warm and dry (mostly). I've used these in all sorts of rain and in light to medium rain they keep your hands dry, in full-on rain you'll get a little wet. I did one ride in an absolute downpour and I was wringing them out at every stoplight. Still though, I never expected these to be something to keep me dry in weather like that, I'm not sure much would be able to.I've begun to use these ski touring as well and as a light glove on warmer ski days (just below 0°C) and absolutely love them. Super dextrous compared to a regular ski glove (even my Hestras which are fantastic), and incredibly breathable. My hands are generally quite warm though, so this may not apply to all. Other guys I ride with as well tend to have thicker gloves on the 5°C days but I am ok in these. If your hands do get cold though these still make a great fall/spring glove.

I purchased this thinking it was another model and I was disappointed to find out that it didn't have a velcro strap at the wrist. It just has some elastic. I've had other biking gloves like that and it was nearly impossible to get them on and off, especially when my hands were cold or wet. These ones perform beautifully and I can get them on and off without a problem. The cuff goes up the wrist a bit farther than your typical bike glove, so it slides right under my full length jersey sleeve. I dig it for sure.Other than that, it's a pretty basic glove. It's got great reflective highlights and the fuzzy part is great for nasal drip. Pearl Izumi continues to be my favorite bike gear source!

A solid softshell glove that keeps my fingers warm in windy 40-50 F degree weather. Note that this glove, while a little thicker and more insulated than a summer fingerless glove (which is really just mesh and padding) does not have any racing or handle-bar specific padding. It is a nice glove though and has a long sleeve to tuck into a jacket sleeve.

These are nice gloves, but they are not that warm. The material is pretty thin. They serve me well when temps are in the 60's. But any lower my fingers are going numb after a hour or so. They did protect my hands fairly well when I took a fall going 20 mph. The gloves got tore up a bit, but no scraps on my hands. Also remember these don't have any gel pads in the palms. So comfort wise they are pretty raw.

Great quality glove and I can operate my smart phone with the finger tips. The fit was a bit too big, but maybe I have small hands.

This is being used to keep hands warm biking around campus during winter season. It has good windbreaking factor. Flexible for this purpose, better than biking gloves.

I got these for layering under fingerless gloves in the winter while I cycle (which is my main form of transportation). These were adequately warm down to around 35 degrees F, maybe 40 in the rain. But I was happy with them - I'm a woman with slender fingers and these fit great.

Ich trage die Handschuhe seit November auf dem Arbeitsweg bei Wind und Wetter.Sie halten selbst stärkerem Regen eine gute halbe bis 3/4 Stunde stand und schützen die Hände auch zuverlässig vor kaltem Fahrtwind. Wenn Sie durchnässt sind werden die Hände jedoch nicht direkt kalt!Dabei trocknen Sie zügig. Schlimmstenfalls waren sie nach ein paar Stunden auf der Heizung immer wieder trocken.Bis etwa minus ein oder zwei Grad kann man sie noch solo tragen. Wenn es kälter wurde habe ich ein paar günstige Fleecehandschuhe drübergezogen und schon blieben die Hände wieder warm.Bei Klettverschlüssen ist jedoch Vorsicht geboten, da die Gefahr besteht Fäden zu ziehen.Die Handschuhe vermitteln ein sehr guted Griffgefühl bei allen Aktionen am Lenker.Auch bei Regen kommt man nicht ins Rutschen. Trotz des nicht allzu dicken Materials sind die Handschuhe robust. Einen Sturz auf Asphalt halten sie jedenfalls aus.Fazit: Eine lohnende Anschaffung zur Ergänzung meiner Fahrradausrüstung. Ich geb sie nicht mehr her!

Ich war zuerst etwas geschockt weil die Handschuhe doch etwas dünn sind und der angegebene Temperaturbereich bei +5 bis +12 Grad liegt (also bei 8-9°C ist das Optimum erreicht). Ich hab sie bei knapp über 0°C ausprobiert und sie halten warm.Bei einer längeren Abfahrt habe ich die Kälte auf dem Handrücken dann doch gemerkt. Es war aber nicht unangenehm.Würde ich die Handschuhe bei unter Null fahren ... glaub ich nicht.Die Grössenangabe XL ist wirklich XL. Die Handschuhe passen perfekt.

Nachdem ich letzten Winter bei deutlich Minusgraden beste Erfahrungen mit den Pearl Izumi Pro Softshell Lobster gemacht hatte, war ich noch auf der Suche nach hochwertigen Fahrradhandschuhen für Frühjahr bzw. Herbst.Meine Anforderungen: Großstadt; täglich 2x 9km (je. ca. 30 min) Arbeitswegs zzgl. Wochenendeinkäufe.Im ersten Moment dachte ich der Pearl Izumi Pro Softshell Lite ist zwar ein sehr chicer, gut verarbeiteter und qualitativ hochwertiger Handschuh, jedoch wohl zu dünn und somit bis max. +3° verwendbar.Aber weit gefehlt! Trotz des dünnen Materials halten die Handschuhe bis ca. -3° warm, bieten dabei bestes Handling beim lenken, schalten und bremsen und die Hände schwitzen nicht.Klare Kaufempfehlung.

Klasse Handschuhe. Habe bis ca. -5 Grad immernoch warme Hände. Sie sind Atmungsaktiv, so schwitzt mann ach bei 10 Grad plus nicht gleich. Die Größe stimmt. Ich habe immer 10 und die sitzen perfekt. Durch die Streifen an den Fingern und der Handfläche hatt mann einen sehr guten halt am Lenker. Da rutscht nichts, auch nach einem Jahr alles noch bestens.Einziges Manko sind die Nähte. Für den Preis kann man echt eine feinere Verarbeitung erwarten, Stichwort dünne Flachnähte!
