Pfaltzgraff French Lace White Dinnerware Set (48 Piece)

I read a lot of reviews before I purchased these dishes. Everything good that was said about these dishes is true. There is a weight to them, they feel sturdy and look great. The dishes are a good size; bowls are deep and cups are plenty big. The salad plates are beautiful. I wanted a very neutral set of dishes that would go with every season and event; these fit the bill. I would definitely recommend this set or purchase them as a gift for someone else.

I had been looking to replace my everyday dishes but was astounded at what some companies/websites/stores charge for fairly simple dishware. I was cautiously optimistic when I ordered these, wondering if the price was too good to be true, but it was just the opposite. This is a great deal on very pretty, sturdy dishes. A couple plates had some very minor imperfections in the glaze but overall they are really nice.Key thing for me, comfortable mug handles (I hate cups and mugs with handles that just don't fit a human hand) - these are perfect.

On bottom of plates were the name of company and design. The words kept disappearing in the dishwasher and ended clogging the hose so had to have the dishwasher repaired. After just a few months I ended up with only a few plates out of 12 place settings that had the name of the company and design. I have a set of dishes that I have used every day for 50 years and the name of the company and design are still there like new. I bought 12 setting of these and ended up giving them to someone else with a warning. Also they stained every time I used them. I called the office and they told me to use baking soda and water to clean the dishes. My old set never stained until this last year since they were used for 50 years so I did not expect brand new dishes to stain so bad. I do not have the time to remove the stains each time I used them. The new dishes appeared to be “seconds” and should not have been sold. The manufacture would not give me my money back even though I contacted them a few months after I bought them. They told me I had to send them the plates and they would only replace them. I had ordered 12 place settings. These dishes were suppose to be a highly regarded brand but did not live up to their reputation. I did purchased another brand with a very good reputation and they should hold up for many years and I have yet to have to remove stains.

This dinnerware set is perfect. They are so elegant yet have a touch of rustic charm with the little bit of brown trim around the edges. I love the coordinating lace pattern on the pieces. The bowls are just right, not too small and not too big. Perfect for a warm bowl of soup. The cups are perfect too. My tea tastes even better. I'm thrilled to have them in time for Christmas and will make entertaining more enjoyable. My only regret is that I didn't order them sooner to have them in time for Thanksgiving.

I love these dishes. They are durable, heavy-weight and beautiful! I really love how beautiful they are, but at the same time are low in cost, but not cheap in value. These are probably the best dishes I have ever owned! Pfaltzgraff is a well-known name brand and you will not be disappointed in these dishes.

Chips very easily

I replaced my Corelle dishes with this set, these plates are much heavier than Corelle but they are beautiful. I used them for Christmas and received rave reviews that my sister wants to order. I told her she needs to find her own style because these are mine. The salad/sandwich plate flower also reminds me of a snowflake which hits the spot for Christmas. I’m very happy I purchased these, I bought multiple sets.
