Good quality tool
Great chuck. Fit my lathe snugly, and holds the forstner bits I use properly. Great quality, and no issues after about 20 uses so far.

Better than expected, looks solid
Just received yesterday and is exactly as described. The MT2 taper is longer than i expected meaning I had to wind the quil on my jet lathe out about 1/2” more that I expected. Seems solid and pretty decent quality out of the box. At ~60% cost of comparable brands I have no reason no grumble. At check back down the road if I encounter issues but I’m very happy.

Much better than my old worn out Taiwan chuck
About 25 years ago I bought a new floor model drill press at an import tool sale. I opted for the $150 Taiwan model over the $99 Chinese one thinking the fit and finish was better. Back then you could buy a very nice USA made one for what the imports cost now, but I was on a very tight budget. I've used it for years despite some quality and vibration issues, and recently the original chuck wore out. I bought this one $21.99 not expecting a lot. It is slightly smaller than the old one (probably same capacity for large bits, and even holds a few smaller bits). It came with a red rubber coated key and fit my drill press with Morris Taper #2 well. seems to hold the drills tight so far. Am happy for the price!

Nice Chuck
I ordered this to use on my vintage lathe. The taper for the chuck fit in nicely and was firmly seated with just a couple of taps on the chuck. Seems like a nice heavy duty product. Removing one star because the chuck has rough spots on the threads when it's turning. Seems as though the threads were cut, but then not properly cleaned before assembly. The tool dip on the key is a nice touch, but I doubt it'll hold up for the long haul because of the way it was cut around the gear of the key. There's no adhesion there, and eventually it's going to peel off.Otherwise nice product for the price.

No complaints
Works well with my HF mini lathe but it is a bit large for that application. Its very long though so I cut about an inch and a half off of the tapered end so it could retract further into the tail stock (but left enough length so it can still be released by retracting the tail stock all the way in)

Good chuck
Taper fit perfectly in chuck and tailstock. Chuck is nice and sturdy. Came extremely well carefully packaged, but the chuck was slightly difficult to turn. Add a dose of wd40 and ready to rock.

Not for wood lathe
Nicely made chuck and key, but arbor’s tang prevents full insertion. I’ll keep it but for my drill press.

Quality chuck at a great price
Chuck jaws grab and hold tight without loosening, and adjustment of the jaws is smooth. Chuck key is large enough to be used as a knockout bar in a pinch if the adapter gets stuck. Big value for the money, as many mt2 lathe chucks at other stores are over $50.
