First of all, the pictures and description are deceiving because this acrylic shelf is NOT completely clear. The back ledge is white! I did not realize this and it defeats the purpose of buying a CLEAR shelf. I should have looked at the photos and comments more closely. It does not make sense buying a clear acrylic shelf with a white back ledge.Second, the shelves arrive with the plastic lip installed, stacked in a box with no cushioning. They were stacked in a way that caused the bottom shelf to arrive broken - the lip was snapped off along with the thin plastic part that held it in place.Third, the description says 8" x 6". It is 8" wide. The depth is actually 5 3/4" and 5 1/2" with the lip on the shelf. I bought this thinking something 6" would fit on the platform. It could if the lip was removed and the item hangs off the end. If a company is going to list a product in inches, it should be accurate and not a rounded number.Sending the set back to look for something deeper and completely clear.

I bought this unit to hold a waterpik toothbrush with water-flosser. The weight without water worked fine but adding the water caused the glue strips to fail. Once I used the provided screws it works fine. Great when you only have a small space.

We used it to put a small 5 x 6 Roku box on to hide behind television. The adhesive not strong enough. BUT we did like the shelf itself.And to its credit when it did fall of the wall . . . it didn't break.Considering drilling a few holes to put up or use a heavier adhesive strip (on the to do list)

The adhesive isn’t strong enough. Both fell off wall, the little front piece broke off. Got these specifically for a cement wall & can’t use the screws.
