Bought book labeled brand new, written in all over in the first chapter.

I bought this book for my daughter who is going into Elementary Education. I have the Secondary book and use it for planning every lesson I create! There are different strategies to keep your English Language Learners, or all Learners, speaking, writing, reading and listening. She has found it extremely helpful in starting out to help create informal assessments to go along with her activities. It is Essential!!

Excellent reader friendly resource! I have thoroughly enjoyed the work of Dr. Honigsfeld and colleagues. I have read several of her publications and it never gets stale or repetitive! It it refreshing to see SLP's publishing information about the importance of curricular integration into the therapeutic model. As a fellow SLP, I would highly recommend this resource to SLP's in the schools who are looking for information about cross-discipline collaboration with the goal of supporting the core curriculum within therapy sessions. As a supervisor, book offers much information that can easily be presented in a turn-key fashion for professional development discussions and workshops. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

I bought the Kindle ebook. I already own the 6-12 secondary book, and wanted to own the elementary edition as well. Whether you teach common core or not, this book has tons of teaching strategies that are helpful not only for the ELL, but for all struggling students. The book includes ideas, strategies, websites, examples, and samples. As an ESL teacher I use this book to help incorporate strategies in the content classroom and to recommend to content teachers for their use.

This is a must for teachers that are working with students that have difficulty reading and writing. Great strategies are given for each ELA Commin Core Anchor Standard. A great resource for anyone teaching literacy.

Once again, I was glad to have found a copy of this book at an affordable price. The new copy was in good quality.

This is a good but, but a lot to get through. I really think it will help though. My students really fit this book.
