Best lancets to buy.
The best! I was prescribed a brand from my pharmacy and they were horrible, AND, painful. It was well worth the extra $2 for these. Plus, I got more lancets.

Easier than the one that came with meter
These are the type that are used in hospitals and doctors offices. They are one use and disposable. If you get the right size, you should be able to get blood the first time instead of turning your finger into a pincushion.

Hard to Handle
The lancets do the job. I have bad hands though. I find it difficult to get them to release. When I do, they work fine. I don't experience pain from them. I also like that the kancet retracts after using it. I just wish it wasn't so hard to push on the top.
