Great budget cable
I think that the C-line are the happy point of value for money and quality. They are well made and sound great. I think you would have to spend a lot more to have any noticeable improvement

Very nice and robust build. Good value for money.
Got these for my dad to improve his set up. He wouldn't believe at first what a good set of rca's can do! Great pare of cables.

Somewhat midrange sound but very musical
I've done my head in auditioning these £75 2m interconnects against QED Performance Audio 40i (£65) and Primewire (£15) equivalents - see (https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B079FTRQ1D?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details)The Chord C-Lines have very solid ends with tight grip and a reasonably flexible cable. Sonically, they have less top end and possibly bass than the QEDs but they are foot tappingly musical. That's probably because my speakers are a bit bright to start with and the Chords took some of that away. Meanwhile, the QEDs (for all their merits) bring a bit more treble and thus made the brightness on my system worse. Someone else with a system that is lacking in top end might find that the QEDs suit them better (or the Primewires mentioned above, which are almost indistinguishable from the QEDs and £50 cheaper). On first listen, the Chords seemed to have a very slightly narrower soundstage than the QEDs (which again helped make them sound more musical). But after 30 hours or so, that soundstage seems to be opening up. More likely, my ear is just listening to the music and not just listening for difference any more. In the end, I'm happy with them but was shocked at how good the Primewires are for so much less, so you're not getting good value for money unless you compare them to cables that are insanely priced but offer very little additional sound quality.

Optomise sound quality
My stereo system is a well-loved Rotel CD, Pre-amp, Power-amp set-up recently connected to a Denon HEOS to enable bi-directional music streaming. I decided to replace aging high-end Ven Den Hul interconnects, based on recent reviews, with Chord-C-Line. Early days yet, however my subjective impression is that the sound quality(across frequency range) has been maintained (which is a great outcome) and surprisingly the sound staging appear to be slightly more accurate.
