Didn't know I had to pry the chip out of the existing cartridge
When I ordered these toner cartridges, I didn't know I had to pry the chip out of the old cartridge, and put into the new one. I was hesitant to do this, but the instructions were okay, and I also watched a couple of videos on youtube to understand the process. For whatever reason, the extraction tool was not in the box, but I used an exacto blade and was able to cut the old chip out, and install into the new cartridges. The cartridges work, but you won't get an accurate toner level reading, but for the price that's not a big deal to me. Going forward, I can save the chips from these cartridges, because they will just slide out, and then use in replacements. So if you're able to get the chips out without damage, then you can just buy the refills and reuse the chips.Toner with the chips start in the $240 range, so this is definitely a good buy if you can extract the chips from the old toner cartridges.

Helpful seller but could not get them to work
I removed the chips from my OE HP cartridges with the provided tools but after several attempts, could not get the printer to recognize the cartridges. The seller tried to help but nothing worked so I returned them and purchased a different (more expensive) set that included chips. Those work great.

You have take out previous chips from last print cartirige. Fails easily.
This is a DIY kit that asks you to remove previous chips from the last print cartridge. This includes pealing away left over plastic on a tiny chip. It went wrong on my install and does not function. Clear instructions do not help with the delicate nature of the process.

Chips are tiny and a pain to pull and install, and then FAILED to be read
The removal of the chip was easy enough, however the installation was difficult as the provided instructions were WRONG. They make and sell the toner cartridge and they can't get the install instructions right. The chip has to be inserted from the opposite side as they show. There is no web site... there is a barcode to watch the video on your phone, but you're SOL, if you want to view it on your computer WHICH IS USUALLU RIGHT NEXT TO THE PRINTER.

Prints look great and great price!
I ordered this set of 201X toner cartridges for my HP Color LaserJet Pro M252dw. I have used both HP OEM toners and other brands of toner in this printer. After my original HP set ran low I ordered a non-OEM third party brand.Initially they worked well, but relatively quickly after that I started having issues. The toner seemed to be leaking from the other brand of cartridges. I would get blue or yellow streaking across a text page that I would print in black only. I opened up the toner tray and there was toner all over. So, after that I decided to ditch the ones I have purchased, do a good cleaning out of the unit and order new ones.I decided to try to HaloFox ones as other said they were having good luck. They arrived quickly and the packaging was great. They were easy to install and didn't have any issues. I have now been printing with them for a while and run a variety of documents from text to color items and everything seems to be great. I periodically check in the toner drawer to see if there is any toner floating around and don't see any. So far so good with these! The quality seems top notch!

Just as good as OEM at a fraction of the price
For years I only purchased the ridiculously expensive HP brand toners. Recently the yellow HP toner started to leak into my printer and get all over anything I printed. I tried several times to clean the toner cartridge and the printer but nothing helped. The problem persisted and it was obviously a defective cartridge. I tried contacting HP to see if they would replace it since there was still 1/3 of the toner remaining but that was near impossible. At HP prices that equals about $33 in toner wasted, ugh. I was still undecided if I should give the HaloFox toner a try or buy another HP. I finally decided it was worth giving HaloFox a try since the entire set of 4 HaloFox cartridges was 1/2 the price of a single HP yellow toner! What did I have to lose? I'm so glad I did. I replaced all the HP toners with the complete set of HaloFox and the printing looks just as good. The cartridges fit perfect and pictures have great color.

So Far, Works Great!
I only installed the cartridges yesterday, but so far everything is working perfectly! The printer does recognize the cartridges as non-HP, however beyond that, everything else is fine. Supply level reporting seems to work, and it recognizes the high-capacity black toner as high-capacity.I ran some test prints and print quality is just fine. I have not tried photos, but it's a laser printer. It's not designed for photos. Forms, signage, etc., all look great. While I can't comment on the actual amount of toner in each cartridge, I'm hoping that it's the same as the original HP cartridges.

ink inconsistent
Colour very inconsistent - I print multiple of the same image on one sheet and each comes out different. There are also visible streaks that sometimes appear - did not happen before for other brand toner. still, pretty cheap, but kind of annoying if I have to waste labels
