Dome Glass Galaxy S8 Plus Screen Protector, Full Coverage 3D Curved Tempered Glass Shield [NO UV Light Included] Easy Install by Whitestone for Samsung Galaxy S8+ (2017) - Replacement Only

This review is for the replacement screen protector kit (without the UV light). The installation was very similar to the original screen protector. The differences were that they included two slender sponges that fit along the sides of the phone, presumably to soak up any extra adhesive. I did not seem to have any extra during my original install, so I'm not sure they are necessary. The only other difference that I noticed was that the glass can move up and down quite easily under the tray lid during installation. When I pulled the pin out to drop the glass, I saw that the glass glided upward towards the speaker. So after the adhesive had completely covered the screen, BUT BEFORE THE FIRST CURE, I used my finger to gently slide the glass back down to its proper position. No problem. The final result...PERFECT just like the original. My only complaint is the price. They include everything from the original kit except the UV light. That's a bit extreme. I would rather pay less and just get the adhesive and the glass.

The process takes a little time about 20mins but it is hands down the best screen protector/adhesive I've ever used. It is pricey but others do not have this kind of adhesive that cures cracks, pretty well I might add. My kit didn't come with a UV light so I bought a nail led UV light for $20 here on Amazon. Total price $65 is still much less than a $200 cost for a new screen replacement on my S8 Plus! Very good, highly recommend!

This is one of the harder screen protectors I've ever installed - I've done so 5x between friends and family and I'm finally comfortable doing it now. While the application method is different it's clearly superior to another screen protector I've ever used. Full adhesive coverage, the adhesive fills in minor scratches, the touch sensitivity is like the phone is naked, I will never buy another screen protector again.

This product used to be better. My most recent purchase seemed to have a few minor changes to the kit. It seems the glue is different and the installation method changed. It was much better when it had the paper triangle to drop the screen on the phone over the glue. This new method doesn't work well with the new watery glue. I used both sticks of glue and failed. I had an old glue stick and got it right the first try. I hope they go back to the old product

After 3 weeks the edges are lifting on this third one I got. They were installed by a person that installs them for people. The glue on the edges of the glass remain a little gummy and if you wipe it too much it peels from out from under the edges of the glass. If you handle it with your hands it is worse. It has happened on all three I brought. Two lasted a year because i had it in a screen protector to help stop touching the edges of the gummy glue. The last one I got here lasted only 3 weeks, same issues. *And yes they were cured with the UV light according to the length of time etc as was instructed.

Expected better from a $45 screen protector. There are bubbles and gaps in the adhesive that are randomly appearing after only 2 days of normal use. Installation was followed exactly how the company specifies and the screen looked great for 2 days. Attached pictures show current state. Waste of money, I couldn't recommend this product to anyone.

This is by far the best glass screen protector out there for s8 or s8+. It looks almost identical to the glass screen on the phone already and feels as if there is no screen protector at all. Other brands only have the adhesive around the rim so there is a tiny gap between the glass and the screen. With this one however, due to the full coverage of the adhesive, it does not feel awkward to the touch. I will admit this particular kit threw me off since I was used to the old way of installing it but I'm still happy with the results

Hard to find glass cover for curved screens this worked well. My child had an enemy purposely chuck her phone, screen looked smashed, but wasn't. Back of phone was cracked even though in spiegen case, and front screen under the glass protector, have a pixel out, but wasn't cracked. So I guess screen did it's job.

i have had this protector on a few months now, its my 2nd time with whitestone as i dropped it previously.i have the same issue i had with the other one too....i was ultra careful following instructions...and it is tricky to install...but it went on ok....leaving it a full 24 hours this time before using it....but, as before, after a month or so a bubbling / faded cloud forms under the screen, bleeding in from the sides...this is exactly what happened on my previous one too....so buyer beware of this issue.

Like the product, but the set I received was the old version. So kind of disappointed in this. Previous version I received was the new kit, works a lot easier, fits better

PRO:L'applicazione del vetro con la LOCA glue è seamless, con il kit d'installazione e seguendo le istruzioni è difficile sbagliare.Una volta applicato il vetro sembra quasi di non averlo, feeling fantastico, touch incredibile e la rimozione del vetro perfetta.PRIMO CONTRO:Il vetro non è full screen, copre il 92% del vetro anteriore, ovvero vi lascia gli angoli scoperti, da un certo punto di vista vi consente di mettere cover più ingombranti, da un altro punto di vista, con cover meno coprenti lascia una parte di vetro esposta. Questo, nel mio caso, ha causato la rottura del vetro anteriore del telefono nell'angolo superiore, causato da un urto diretto del vetro del telefono contro il pavimento.PICCOLO INTERMEZZO A FAVORE: il cellulare ha sbattuto in svariati punti del vetro anteriore, e tutti gli altri punti sono stati protetti egregiamente dal vetro, solo l'angolo in alto a destra non è stato risparmiato poichè, in quel particolare punto, il contatto è avvenuto non con il dome glass ma con il vetro del telefono.Considerando il costo di 45€, secondo me è un grosso difetto visto che per sostituire il vetro ora ne dovrei sganciare 330.SECONDO CONTRO:La whitestone vi offre una "lifetime warranty". Questa lifetime warranty si applica solo sul sito whitestone, che vi invierà un vetro sostitutivo al modico costo di 25€ (a detta loro, i costi di spedizione sono a vostro carico). Fin qui ok, 25€ non sono troppi per un prodotto buono come questo. In fin dei conti mi ha fatto uscire il telefono con una scheggiatura da una caduta sull'asfalto di piena faccia.Il problema è che devi inviare a tue spese il vetro rotto alla whitestone a LONDRA. Il che fa lievitare il costo dell'operazione a 40€.Il vetro sostitutivo su amazon ne costa 35.QUINDI la LIFETIME WARRANTY è, senza girarci troppo attorno, FALSA PUBBLICITA'.Visto che ho il kit di whitestone, comprerò vetri temperati da 5€ su amazon, toglierò l'adesivo, comprerò una colla LOCA da 1000 di viscosità e cercherò di replicare un qualcosa di più economico in casa, tanto ormai il vetro del telefono, il whitestone dome glass, me l'ha protetto solo parzialmente.

Ich kann das Produkt nicht weiterempfehlen. Ich habe es für 2 Geräte so und s8+ gekauft . Zum ersten löste sich das glass wieder und es entstanden lufteinschlüsse was nicht gerade schön aussieht zum anderen fiel ein Gerät aus etwa 50 - 70 cm runter , dabei gab es die üblichen Beschädigungen am glass. Was man für dieser Preisklasse nicht erwarten darf . Für 45€ und das mal 2 hätte ich mehr erwartet. Zumal die Fallhöhe nicht gerade sehr hoch war . Von mir ein dickes minus .Preis Null SterneAufbringen nullsterne , zu kompliziert mit UV Lampe für Fingernägel die man unbedingt braucht , sonst funktioniert es erst gar nicht .Pass Genauigkeit gut .Haltparkeit Null sterne . In allem 1 Stern

il vetro è di buona fattura è il secondo che compro a me è arrivato rotto ma può capitare nel complesso lo consiglio vivamente una volta applicato sembra di non averlo lo consiglio...la prossima volta spero di essere più fortunato ^_^
