4 out of 5 of the locks worked. They are sturdy and 4 out of the 5 were super easy to open and reset the code. Just the one didn't work. I didn't contact the seller, because we didn't have time to exchange, and we came home after the return date had passed.

Having 4 numbers makes the lock harder to break into. The size of these locks is about the same size as the previous generation of 3 number combination locks. They are still larger than keyed travel locks, but well worth the extra size for the convenience of not keeping track of a key when you are traveling. The actual construction of these locks is good. I think this represents a good value in travel locks.

I prefer a combination lock on my luggage as I am always afraid of losing the key.I want a TSA lock because I don't want them to break my lock to inspect my bag, and they do that a lot.I prefer a combination lock with four numbers as it increases the combinations tenfold, adding security.I like my combinations to all be the same, so I know the number, and I can set these that way.I like these locks for all these reasons, and I like them being blue as the distinctive color, which is one more way that I can identify my bags.
