But can one really tell scale form a photo? More of a back support pillow. Maybe for a small child? If you are thinking about this pillow for an adult, get two or get something else. Standing the pillow up on it's side, the height would work in a pinch for a side or back sleeper (if you don't mind balancing your head on the edge of a pillow). I hope this gives an idea of it's size.The "mean" measures are 12 1/2" x 7 1/2" inflated. About 3 1/2" thick around the perimeter and maybe 2" in the center. The shell seems thin (which makes it feel soft and comfy) but sturdy. it feels like it would "stretch out" if one used it as a seat cushion. It came faster than expected, 22 days (China direct).
