Engaging and Natural Silvervine Sticks for Cats – A Hit with My Fosters!
The media could not be loaded. 1. PROBLEM I WANTED TO SOLVEMy two foster cats, Fuzz and Baby Girl, have been a bit bored lately, and I was looking for something that could engage them while also supporting their dental health. With them being indoor cats, it’s important to find stimulating toys, and the Potaroma 3 Pack Natural Silvervine Sticks seemed like a perfect solution. Plus, I’d heard great things about Silvervine being even more enticing than catnip, so I was curious if this would catch their attention and help keep their teeth clean.2. DID IT SOLVE THE PROBLEM?Yes, with mixed results! Fuzz immediately went for the Silvervine Sticks, batting them around and chewing them within seconds of the package being opened. He seems to love the texture and scent, which keeps him entertained for a solid amount of time. His usual bursts of energy were redirected into rolling around and playing with the sticks, which was a pleasant surprise. Baby Girl, on the other hand, wasn’t as interested at first but eventually started licking and nibbling on the stick after a few days, which gave her a little extra mental stimulation. As for the dental benefits, I can’t say I’ve noticed a significant difference just yet, but I imagine it helps by keeping their teeth busy and encouraging chewing.3. OTHER DETAILSThe pack comes with three sticks, each infused with Silvervine and Catmint, so there’s a good variety of scents that seem to appeal differently to each cat. The sticks are durable, though Fuzz managed to wear one down pretty quickly with how hard he chews. The natural blend of Silvervine and Catnip is great for my cats who tend to get bored of the same old toys.I also appreciate that the sticks are all-natural and safe for them to chew on—knowing there are no harmful chemicals in these toys adds peace of mind. The packaging states that the blend and appearance may vary, and this was true for my package, but it didn’t affect the experience for my cats.4. WOULD I BUY IT AGAIN?Absolutely! While Baby Girl took longer to warm up to the sticks, Fuzz has had a blast with them since day one. It’s a simple, affordable way to keep them entertained, and I like that it doubles as something beneficial for their dental health. I’d also recommend this product for households with multiple cats, as each cat’s interest level may vary, and having three sticks allows them to share without fuss.5. ADDITIONAL INSIGHTSIf you have a picky cat like Baby Girl, you may need to introduce the sticks a few times or try rubbing a little catnip on them to spark interest. Fuzz, who is more easily entertained, took to them right away, so it may depend on your cat’s personality. I’d also suggest supervising during the first few uses to ensure your cat chews safely, as the sticks can get worn down over time.VERDICTFor the price and quality, these Silvervine Sticks are worth trying, especially if your cats are fans of catnip or need some extra stimulation. I’ll definitely be keeping these around for my foster kitties and rotating them with other toys to keep things fresh.

Unexpectedly Engaging Cat Toy
My cats (and my parents cats) absolutely LOVED them. So, in my experience, 7/7 cats love them lolNOTES-I SUPERVISED PLAY. I did not leave these out all day, I brought them out as a supervised activity treat. it kept the toy interesting I think, and the silvervine/catnip scents from "wearing out" fast-GOOD LONGEVITY OF PLAY. The product guarantees at least a "few minutes" of interest. I found the cats had 10+ minutes of interest and when I removed the toy from play, they were prone to rubbing on the blankets/furniture where the toy had been previously.-DRIED GALL FRUIT COMMENT. I was nervous about the hard, wrinkled fruit causing issues. Seems like it could crack a tooth or be difficult to digest. However, it softens really easy when water/saliva touches it and I no longer have those concerns. I did not let them eat large amounts - just in case - but was unworried if small amounts were consumed during a play session. No issues have been noted in all 7 cats. I do not personally believe the improved digestion claims, but I do believe there is no harm in moderation.-FUN BEHAVIORS. Expect funny behaviors such as drooling, zoomies, etc. The drooling does not bother me and is harmless. 3/7 cats had this drooling but seemed to thoroughly enjoy everything.-STRONG CATNIP/SILVERVINE EFFECT. Stronger and more engaging than normal catnip products I have seen-VERY ATTACHED RAFFIA GRASS ENDS. the cats would chew vigorously on the grass ends, but very minimal amounts came off despite the aggressive chewing. I think this is the "dental" cleaning the product advertises. It helps a little with dental health in that it somewhat "flosses," but do not expect dental miracles.-SISAL ROPE AND SILVERVINE STICK. these survived heavy playtime with minimal wear and tear.Would recommend! :)

Cats liked it
I live in a home with 6 cats (4 are mine, 2 are my roomates) and every single one of them was OBSSESSED with these the minute I opened them. I am a little worried about them pulling off and potentially choking on the little dangly piece, my boys were really tugging at it, but otherwise excellent toy! Great quality/size for the price.Once theyve been opened for a bit the cats start losing interest though, I guess after the smell kind of wears off a bit its not as enticing for them, but they do still play with them, just not nearly as much as when the toys have just been opened

Great chew toy for cats
My cat is obsessed with these! She’ll chew on one and play with it endlessly. However the gall fruit ball attached to the sticks gets chewed off pretty quickly.

Not interested
My cats played with them for a few minutes and haven’t touched them since. Guess they aren’t for all cats.

The Perfect Fix for Cat Chewers!
The media could not be loaded. I bought these silvervine sticks to stop my cats from chewing on my computer cords, and they worked like a charm! As soon as I gave them one, they were instantly obsessed - licking, chewing, and rolling around with it. The mix of silvervine and catnip keeps them entertained for a long time, and it’s a huge bonus that it helps clean their teeth. They’ve completely ignored my cords ever since! Great value, long-lasting, and a lifesaver for any cat owner. Highly recommend!
