This guitar wall mount is SO convenient. It's sturdy, was easy to install (make sure it's in a stud!), and looks good. I like having my guitar on the wall instead of having to haul out my guitar case every time I want to play. This is much better than a floor stand. We have a cat, LOL.

Living in a small apartment you always have to figure out creative ways to store things, as well as trying to make it look visually pleasing. My boyfriend had a collection of guitars that always ended up in odd areas that were inconvenient to us both.I purchased two of these wall hangers to test out on a lightweight acoustic guitar and a heavy electric guitar. At the time I thought they would look cool hanging above the couch, especially since it was a large blank space and that was normally where he played. Once the fixtures were hung they looked great so it was time to test them with the guitars.These hangers come with drywall anchors for the screws and I HIGHLY recommend using them if you don't have a stud finder. They screw easily into the wall and make the fixture extra sturdy. The acoustic fit great, it was snug but had a little bit of movement in the cradle. The "swing" in String Swing is correct. If you accidentally bump or touch the guitar while in the cradle it offers some movement for the instrument which didn't bother us. When I put up the electric guitar it fit perfectly as well. With the anchors in place the fixture did not look like it strained at all with the extra weight.The only down side, especially in an apartment, is that if you want to take down the fixture the anchors leave fairly large holes in your drywall. It took a ton of putty to actually cover the holes when we moved.Overall this product allows you to store your musical instruments in a decorative way that is also functional.

I've never used wall hangers for my guitars but in repurposing a bedroom into a den/music room, I decided to try these. Love the look and convenience of being able to grab a guitar and play. No stands to trip over and they hold the guitars very nicely. One is a Les Paul, the other a Strat, and the holders adjusted to the different head stocks nicely. I personally didn't trust just using anchors in plaster so I used a stud finder and made sure I was screwing into wood when I hung them.

A very basic but effective way of displaying/storing your guitar in plain view, while occupying no room on the floor. Great stuff.

This is one instance where I just didn't want to buy the cheapest one. This could be holding an expensive instrument so cheaping out didn't make sense. This seems to be well built and fortunately there was a stud where I wanted to mount it anyways. After I bought this I did notice that the manufacturer had a buy one get one free offer if you purchased direct from them. I don't recall the price, but that's worth looking into if you need two.Having a guitar on the wall not only looks nice (just my opinion), but I am more likely to grab it off the wall and actually play. This is in contrast to keeping a guitar in a case all the time tucked away. If I see it on the wall I am reminded to play it and I can grab it and be playing within seconds!

Easy to install, they look nice, and they work really well. They fit most guitar necks and they can swivel around to make sure your guitars are always hanging straight. The padding on the hooks is also nonmarking and protective, keeping the finish on your necks pristine. Be mindful of ceiling height and the distance from the wall when mounting your guitar, however. I bonked the back of the body on many of my guitars, and the headstock on my ceiling a few times.I’ve hung acoustic guitars, electric guitars, electric and acoustic basses, and even numerous guns (shotguns and rifles) on these for months on end and they never failed me. Absolutely recommend.

Look amazing on the wall

These hangers were easy to install and let our guitars hang straight despite the various styles of heads. Easy to grab a guitar off the wall for a quick play.

This has been holding my Les Paul guitar on the wall for a few weeks now and is still strong. I used my own rawl-plugs (plastic wall plugs) as the ones supplied with it were very small and I don't think they were up to the job. Other than that, it's a nice bit of kit.

Most guitar hangers look incredibly ugly. This one looks awesome instead. I also like that it swings to accommodate the different shapes of my instruments' necks and heads.
