Thigh High Compression Stockings 20-30mmHg Open-Toe for Men and Women Support

I usually don’t write reviews but I felt it was necessary for this one. I’m a petite girl with short legs so I used the size chart provided to try and find a size that would fit me. Nope, way too small and way too short. It took me 30 minutes to put them on. I wore them for 12 hours. The feet part of them was probably the most painful around the ankles. But that’s all not as bad as what happened around my thighs. The entire day I had to keep pulling them up trying to keep them on my thighs. When I got home I couldn’t wait to take them off, and, when I did... the rubber part of the thigh area had given me a severe reaction. It was burning like fire and was so swollen and red. I do not have an allergy to latex, I wear latex gloves everyday. Reading some other reviews I saw that I’m not the only one who experienced this. Bottom line, get a size bigger if you’re going to buy and definitely don’t buy if you have any history of being sensitive toward any materials.

I just received this item in the mail, so I cannot comment on durability. However, the product came in 1 day; It's not flimsy like sheer panty hose (It is a thicker stocking) which I am happy about and it is nice and long. I am 5'10.5" Tall; 260lbs, Ankle 11", Calf 17", Thigh 25" and hose came up my leg approx 27"hitting me at mid-thigh. I ordered the XL and had minimal trouble getting them on myself on the 1st try. I debated ordering the XXL, because I'm always afraid that things run small, but in this case I am very glad I ordered according to the size chart provided in the pictures above and went with the XL. I wanted the stocking to do it's job without feeling like an overfilled sausage casing. I am confident that this stocking will fit over the bandage wrapping I will have after a vein procedure, but still provide the compression I will need to heal. Measure your leg at the ankle, calf, and thigh and order according to the chart. The sizing is accurate.

Works like no other stockings I have ever tried. I had a double knee replacement in July and swelling persists in my right leg.Have been wearing these stockings for only two days and see and feel a great difference. And just in time,trying to prepare for the holidays, I feel and move so much better.

There was so much choice in compression hose but I chose a pair of thigh high, beige with open toe and size 2xl. The size and color are perfect. Since I have neuropathy in both feet, it was quite the challenge putting them on. After I got one stocking on, it was pretty easy getting the other stocking on as I used the gadget to help put on socks. The pulleys helped a lot. May I suggest that when you purchase a pair of compressions stockings, you buy one size higher.
