The only thing is it takes a little long to read my print. Other than that, I love it.

This thing does what it says: it's a door handle with a fingerprint reader that offers convenient access to a locked room...most of the time. First, the good:-It's very easy to install. I had no issues with this.-The app is good, easy to use, and easy to register fingerprints.-Batteries last a long time. We've had 2 months of fairly frequent use and the app reports battery life at 90%.Most of the time, it works fine for us. However, there are some issues I think are worth talking about, as these little inconveniences should be considered depending on where you're planning on installing this door handle. Bottom line: if it's a room where quick access is critical, forget about it.The bad:-The Bluetooth radio is useless. Don't expect to be able to open the door while sitting 20 feet away on your couch. It will connect if you're standing right by the door handle, but nowhere else. This feature didn't work out as I had hoped.-The handle randomly stops working. It'll enter a state where no fingerprint attempts will work and the light won't blink or anything. I'm not sure what causes this - you can fix it by resetting the device or connecting to it with your phone. Regardless, it's a huge pain, as there's no getting into the door until you either grab your phone to fix it or use the key to manually unlock it.-Sometimes the lock doesn't disengage when successfully verifying a fingerprint. That is, I'll put my finger on the sensor, the light will blink green (indicating success), but the door will stay locked. I'd guess this is a hardware/design issue, and it's annoying.Overall, it's still a decent fingerprint lock. Most of the time, it serves our purposes well. For the price, I do expect a little better quality than this. Maybe try to get it on sale, and again, bear in mind that you might get locked out of whatever room you put this on for a bit, so don't put it somewhere you need immediate access.

We have an autistic son that is 15. He gets into everything. We used these lock on a lot of interior door to keep him out of stuff that he could hurt himself with. Very easy install and setup. So far they are holding up.
