Pig Hog PHM3 High Performance 8mm XLR Microphone Cable, 3 Feet

It's a bit ironic that Pig Hog boasts toughness and durability with their products. After I plugged their XLR cable into my mic (which was quiet with my old cable), I had noticed a strange "whirring" noise when I was inspecting the quality. I took the cable out disappointingly, and to my surprise, the end of it was still inside my $400 microphone and wouldn't come out. I've tried tweezers, needle nose pliers, and even called a local specialist in attempt to remove the piece of the cheaply-made cable from my expensive equipment, but to no avail. Thanks, Pig Hog. You've ruined my $400 microphone with your garbage product. Not like I needed that for my career, or anything.

These cables are well built and sound great. I'm currently using them between the balanced preouts of a Marantz tuner to a Crest Audio Pro9200 to power 4-18" subs for music and Home Theater use and I don't have one complaint about them. I would recommend them for sure! D.M.

This is an awesome product. Lol this is a real review from a real person. I’m a producer and i needed a cable to run from my booth to my interface. This is a beauty and works like a charm. When they say, tour quality, built to last, believe me, it’s built to last. Advertising is true. Product is amazing, price is fitting, i have no complaints.

UPDATE: - This has now been LIVE in our Studio for a few weeks - I cannot say enough about how much we all love these PIGS - Pig Hog is now all I will ever order - As we replace current Non-Pig Hog Cables with new - Pig Hog will be the Go-To Choice - Hands down - It doesn't get any better at any price point.

Cable looks nice, it is thick, but same time quite soft. Looks and works great

I could not seen any difference recording with this compared to my Mogambi Gold cable. Looks very sturdy. Using this in my studio, will probably buy another to use when I start doing shows again.

I love Pighog XLR cables they are a great quality for the money. They stay flexible in cold temperatures and straight for a nice neat wiring job at my events. My only complaint is is the black does scratch off the connection ends. Very minor complaint.

Juzgar un cable es muy difícil, porque sólo sabes si es bueno a partir de trabajar con él en muchos ambientes y y por mucho tiempo. En ese sentido, sólo puedo hablar con base en la experiencia con otros cables. Así, el plástico aislante se siente resistente, pero flexible y de buen tacto. Los componentes metálicos están bien acabados, no traen rebabas ni se ven maltratados. Lo usé unas horas y no mete ruidos al canal, funcionó perfecto.Me parece, de entrada, que es comparable con los Fender, que hasta hoy me han dado años de trabajo sin fallar ni meter ruidos, o con los de la marca Holocausto y los RapcoHorizon, que se vende en CDMX en las tiendas de música del centro, y que igualmente han durado ya unos seis años sin fallar.Espero que efectivamente dé la calidad que parece tener.

El cable es bastante bueno. Se siente que el blindaje es de buena calidad y además la longitud es bastante efectiva. Lo que no me ha gustado es que las terminales, por alguna razón no embonan perfectamente en las entradas de los micrófonos o de los aparatos y hay que ejercer cierta fuerza para embonarlos. Tengo cables de buenas marcas y esto no sucede, por lo que no le pongo una excelente calificación. Aparentemente la pintura que traen las terminales hace que tallen las conexiones lo que no se espera de un producto premium.Fuera de eso, hace bien su función.

Muy buenos materiales a un excelente precio funciona perfecto con una tarjeta de audio behringer. Recomiendo al vendedor estadounidense que envió todo a tiempo y en forma. Esta marca fabricante de cables tienen fama de hacer excelentes productos muy resistentes.
