Reading reviews has been challenging due to all the fake ones posted across Amazon now--have no idea how they do it especially under "verified purchase" so, I was skeptical.For about a year I've been struggling with debilitating fatigue. I love working out, but the intense fatigue was depressing. I'd have a few energetic days, be able to work and work out and then all of a sudden I'd wake up another day feeling incredibly weak and tired, sometimes dizzy. At times I'd have to stay in bed for most of the day, it was awful. In addition some attacks would last for up to five days, it was unbearable.I have rheumatoid arthritis which does cause fatigue, but this was different. My doctor said I was anemic and prescribed iron pills--the only animal product I eat is whey protein. My husband couldn't believe what was going on. I'd always been up and energetic. Even making coffee in the morning was a challenge on those days. I was incredibly frustrated and upset.I tied various multi vitamins, b12, etc. and nothing helped. Then I read about DHEA but was scared to take because of all the warnings and side effects. But I bought this one and started taking 50 mg. -- 2 pills a day. It says to take with food, but I usually take on an empty stomach. After about 10 days or so it dawned on me I hadn't had an "attack" in the last week and didn't feel the mind-boggling fatigue anymore. I was back to feeling good, not weak tired or dizzy, was able to exercise again with my usual intensity. Overall I feel terrific now and haven't had any episodes of knock-out fatigue for a few weeks. I've only been taking it for about 3 1/2 weeks.It also seems to have made my brain fog go away. It's been a life-changing supplement. I can't believe DHEA could make such a difference! And obviously Pure Encapsulations produces quality supplements.I am going to try 7 Keto DHEA, too but really like the increased hormones.
