These lamps are designed to run in series: On one end, two lamps are wired together, the wires on the other end are connected to the power source. If they are wired incorrectly, the power to each lamp is doubled and they will burn out quickly. When they are wired correctly if one lamp goes out the other connected to it will go out as well. So please check if one lamp was no good, or both. If you cannot see any broken wires or broken part of the coil inside the tube, you can try swapping one of the bad lamps (one at a time) with one of the two good ones and see if they both work or if neither works.

Our coils still work but just the glass tube cracked. Is there a way to just replace the tube without buying whole new coil?

No have to change the whole tube, after a while the cracked tube will start to sag and catch on the moving conveyor.

We purchased 4 of these heater elements at elliot hospital for a star conveyor toaster, they lasted 2 weeks and 2 of them burned out. warranty?

Hi, you might have connected the wires improperly. What I usually do is connect 1 heating element at a time ( 2 ends). Make sure it is working, then replace the next one. There is also an wiring manual on-line you can refer to base on the model you have. Best Dennis

They don't get hot enough

They aren't anywhere as hot as the ones that were in it before. I have to run bread sticks through the conveyor 4 times before they toast properly. Buy a different brand.
