The Four Last Things: A Catechetical Guide to Death, Judgment, Heaven, and Hell

It's one that I highlighted many reminders to go back to and reflect on again. It is a great and necessary reminder about the meat and bones of our Catholic Faith.

Very well written. Excellent book. One of the best books I have ever read. Topics are so important to everyone.

The book arrived in hideous condition. It was suppose to have been brand new and the packers had grease all over the front of it and it bent. The way they just take ur items and just throw them in a box with no packing material is just awful. There was many other items as well in the box that was just rolling around on other more fragile items that contained liquid that had leaked out. I'm shocked at Amazon for this. As for the book, it is Marvelous like all Fr. Wade Menezes's work. Highly recommend. Total 5 stars on the book and no stars for amazon packing methods.

Fr Wade gives us some thoughts about future in heaven. Not frightening. We can begin to see how planning for heaven can provide peace now. Up to each of us

To read this book was an eye opener! To extract this information out of Holy Scripture and / or the Catechism of the Catholic Church would be time consuming. Once you read this book it gives a person a direction of being on course for Heaven, Purgatory, or Hell. I really like the guidance in the back of the book on how to improve your faith with the Trinity. Fr. Menezes has been a great help my life by implementing practices referenced. Blessed be God Forever!

Loved it

Short, concise, easy read. Helps one realize what is truly important. Clarified the 2 judgments, the 2nd Coming, and why in the end purgatory ceases; only heaven and hell remain. Scripture speaks of the terrible things in the end times – the living will envy the dead. Now it makes sense. I can now pray the Litany of Humility with the heart. Bypass purgatory and go straight to heaven is now my goal.

Very enlightening and Fr. Wade opens our eyes on the importance of preparing ourselves for the next life. This is really a wake-up call, so to speak, when we forget that in this secular world our ultimate goal is after all heaven with our Lord. Because for most of us it has been so long since our cathechism days, this is a welcome publication and reminder.

This author is amazing in explaining the faith.....I would recommend it to all wanting to understand the Four Last Things.....I recommend it to all faiths but most especially to Catholics who already have some of this knowledge. True work of wisdom.....
